February 25, 200718 yr Author My thoughts exactly! I'm planning to go to the Contest next year, so who wins is of great importance :P In the shop I work in today, I was tidying away some stock, when a book fell off the shelf - it was a tourist guide to Riga. I thought to myself maybe it's a sign. Then I heard the song! Ooh that'd be really good. ^_^ BuzzJack could have its very own reporter.

February 27, 200718 yr Author do we know greek entry\? No we don't Charis, see the first post and you'll see they are choosing their song tomorrow.
February 27, 200718 yr I must admit I'm sort of beginning to understand the appeal of the Bulgarian song. It could do well if she can sing well on the night. It's a bit like Saltwater by Chicane (except not as good!)

You're right about the Netherlands though - they won't get through the semis, nor will Belgium - I can see both pulling out in 2008 too.

If they don't then they'll probably blame the fact that the genre of music just wasn't right for Eurovision. Netherlands won't have an excuse, so yes they could well pull out. I would prepare for Spain withdrawing if I were you!! They've really pulled out all the stops this year and are so confident they will do well. When they don't (because let's fact it - they won't), then I'd say it'll be the final straw

I think they'll do ok though tbh... teenage girls will be out in droves.
March 1, 200718 yr Greece have chosen. Sarbel - Yassou Maria One of the best I've heard so far - Greece always seem to come up with the goods. Sarbel is actually English, born to a Greek father and a Lebonese mother. The song sounds musically like "Gigolo" by Helena Paparizou, and lyrically like "Livin' La Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin. There is also a reference to the Cheeky Girls!! With a good performance Greece could finish top ten yet again. Edited March 1, 200718 yr by Peter30
March 3, 200718 yr and u r not satisfied I can see  btw Dragonfly feat.Dado Topic won with nthe song "Vjerujem u Ljubav"!!!
March 3, 200718 yr Author I quite like this Croatian song... I think it'll scrape through the semis, despite pretty stiff competition this year.
March 3, 200718 yr well can't quite agree with u David but who know they might go through but it will not be easy 4 sure ^_^
March 3, 200718 yr Author Actually you'll probably be right. And did you know that Croatia, Malta, Sweden, United Kingdom, Spain and France are the only countries to have participated in every contest since 1993? This year could end that for the Croats. :( Lithuania's song is pretty good btw. ^_^

March 4, 200718 yr Bosnia & Herzegovina presented the song tonight! Marija Sesric - Rijeka Bez Imena (River Without A Name) official studio version mp3: http://www.pbsbih.ba/bheurosong07/v02/doku...bez%20imena.mp3 gonna find the video on youtube soon ;)
March 5, 200718 yr Author Not a bad song from Bosnia-Herzegovina... however this year's standard is getting quite high, especially from the semi-finalists so I can't see this doing much tbh.
