Chart commentary: There are 12 new entries this week. This week sees a couple of rock and metal new entries, with Pulkka leading the pack as the highest debut. Joshua Bassett's Set Me Free (not by Eden Alene) skyrockets to no. 40 this week. Sekret is another Eurovision potential entry making an appearance in the top 50 this week.

 

Hengitä finally gets the no. 1 spot after spending 6 weeks in top 50 while Reassemble Myself edges closer to the top spot. Last week's no. 1 Autopsy drops to no. 4. There are 3 new entries to top 10 this week, including Fikus which scores the highest jump. Below the top 10, CHAMPION makes big gains this week.

Number One Entry

 

This is extraordinarily unique from start to finish. The vocals are unlike any other song and the instrumentation gets you banging your head. It would be great to know the hidden meaning with the lyrics and the video as well because they are telling something.

 

Highest Debut

 

The instrumental drop is highly unexpected but the drop is memorable and once again gets you banging. There are interesting vocals in the verses, which are similar to the number one entry this week.

 

Highest Jump

 

Electronica is going strong and here I bring you the almighty car alarm song this is no different. What is unique about the soundscape is that it brings you euphoria as the song progresses, which stands out from the rest of the songs of the same genre. I also love the melody and arrangement here.

 

One to Watch

 

This has grown on me massively since their introduction in Eesti Laul 2022. I hope this song wins the national selection because it sounds anthemic and uplifting. The message is all about empowerment and the instrumentation supports this theme well. That being said, I am a bit worried that the song does not have something really special to stand out from the rest of the bunch, so the staging will need to be captivating in order to progress further.

"All These Things" was kinda disappointing since SICK INDIVIDUALS only recycled the drops from "Writing On The Wall". Nonetheless, good to see them reaching the top 50.

Hmm I would say All These Things is one of the better songs from them. I agree the drop is nothing remarkable but I enjoy the melody and harmony. ;)
