Chart commentary: There are 16 new entries and 1 re-entry this week. Ashes has the highest debut this week. The music video is an artistic depiction of the struggles of being a queer person. Not far below we have a melancholy Lonely Garden. There is a combination of fast and slow songs, and songs of different languages below. Haribo deservedly re-enters after being shafted out of top 50 last week.

The last no. 1 of 2021 goes to the power ballad Reassemble Myself. The competition in top 10 is once against fierce as only one song managed to enter top 10 this week. Reverie jumps the most this week by 24 positions with a wistful song.

This is such a powerful ballad and the melody is beautiful. The chorus melts perfectly and I'm totally in love with the song.

This is mesmerising. The vocals are interesting and I really like the theme of the music video which is about the struggles of being a queer person. The synths add a new dimension to the song. I highly recommend listening to the extended version!

I only recently discovered this song and my goodness this is a powerful song! I love the instrumentation particularly the piano and the harmony. The buildup to the epic climax is done fantastically and this layout draws my attention.
