Confirmed with release dates:

Twin Atlantic – Transparency (Jan 7th)

The Wombats - Fix Yourself, Not The World (Jan 14th)

Miles Kane - Change The Show (Jan 21st)

Yard Act - The Overload (Jan 21st)

Bastille - Give Me The Future (Feb 4th)

Sea Girls – Homesick (March 25th)

Wet Leg - Wet Leg (April 8th)

Liam Gallagher - C'mon You Know (May 27th)

Others without release dates, but are definitely coming: The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Blossoms, Machine Gun Kelly, Bring Me The Horizon, Sports Team,

Twin Atlantic are a strange one for me I really like some of their singles but have never listened to an album. Maybe I will with this one as ‘One Man Party’ especially was a tune plus there isn’t much else out in January I want to hear so far. Except the Wombats which brings me on to the album I will listen to next month although strangely I’m not hugely anticipating it despite 2 single doing well on my PC. One of which was the only song to enter at number one there in 2021!

Also looking forward to Liam Gallagher, George Ezra and Wet Leg. Sea Girls is a weird one as I loved their first era but this era has been underwhelming for me!

Always excited for Bastille but the messy release strategy of the era has really watered down the hype for me.

Hoping Florence releases this year, it feels like the right timing!

I’m really looking forward to the Stereophonics Oochya which is out in March.

Also looking forward to Arctic Monkeys, Liam Gallagher and keeping my fingers crossed for new stuff from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds too.

Thyla - Thyla

Bob Vylan - The Price Of Life

Infected Rain - Ecdysis

Bambara - Love On My Mind

The Mysterines - Reeling

Stereophonics,, would also love a new Noel Gallagher and arcade fire albums aswell.

Noel recently confirmed that their new album has been written, and will be recorded next month!

I'm definitely ready for some new material from Florence if we're lucky enough to get some.

Out of those that are confirmed, I'm looking forward to Yard Act, Bonobo, Herbert (both not really indie I know), Kyla La Grange (am intrigued to see where she heads next), Mitski, Alt-J, Beach House, Metronomy and Bloc Party. And obviously Björk too if she does release.

I think Bjork's album is coming for sure this Spring, unless something comes up. She's done a collaboration with some museum in Freance and they accidentally leaked that it was to coincide with the release of the new Bjork album, but nothing has been officially announced yet.

Bjork also talked about the album on Icelandic radio and said the following:

"Most of the songs I've done are 80-90 beats per minute and there is a rather boring reason for that, it is that when I walk I walk at that speed. But on this album it's chill in the first half of the song and calm but when there's one minute left the song turns into a club. Just for a minute" says Björk.

[she claims the music is] ideal for a COVID party, which were small while meeting restrictions were strict. "For people who are making clubs at home in their living room, restricted to their ‘Christmas bubble’" she says. "Like a man who was headbanging, then sat down again and had another glass of red wine, and everyone is home by ten o'clock, done with the dancing and everything."

alt-J and The xx (I choose to believe this will be the year) for sure, would be here for new Florence as well. And I guess ROSALÍA if she counts although I still don't get why she is in here instead of the pop forum.

I'm on the fence about Mitski. I've never been a fan of her before and I didn't greatly care for 'Working For The Knife' but 'The Only Heartbreaker' is such a good song that I might check out her album when it drops just on the strength of that song alone (and because I want to understand the general hype around her more than I previously have done). I know she dropped a third single too but I've been so hopelessly out of touch with music since mid-November that I've not heard it yet, I'll get around to it soon xx

Let's Eat Grandma similarly I will definitely be checking out the album from based on 'Hall Of Mirrors' alone.

Loyal for alt-J and The xx too, the current era from the former hasn't produced anything that I'm obsessed with so far but I'll keep the faith. The xx never seem to miss so hopefully that'll continue. 'The Only Heartbreaker' by Mitski is my favourite song at the moment and I adored 'Working For The Knife' last year so I'll give that a go too.
