The Bandwagon - Breakin' Down The Walls Of Heartache

Eminem - Ass Like That

Eurythmics - Sexcrime (Nineteen Eighty-Four)

Holly Johnson - Americanos

Jesy Nelson featuring Nicki Minaj - Boyz

Cliff Richard - Carrie

The Smurfs - I've Got A Little Puppy

Ed Sheeran featuring Camila Cabello & Cardi B - South Of The Border

Kiri Te Kanawa - World In Union

We start with Eurythmics' sound effects laden song intended for the 1984 movie but eventually only used in the trailer. The singles on 1 point range from 1968 to 2021. Holly Johnson's first two solo singles both got to number 4. I prefer Love Train but it's Americanos that appears here. Carrie from 1980 is one of Cliff Richard's best songs. This is the only Buzzjack poll where you are likely to see Jesy Nelson and The Smurfs in the same place.

I have Jessie that point 🙌

Bizarre Inc - Playing With Knives

Backstreet Boys - Drowning

Katy B featuring Ms Dynamite - Lights On

Cast - Flying

Deorro X Chris Brown - Five More Hours

50 Cent featuring Olivia - Candy Shop

Madness - Driving In My Car

Madness had four number 4s from 1980 to 1982. Grey Day received no votes while Driving In My Car is the first of the other three to go out. The Bizarre Inc song from 1991 featured on the TOTP repeats recently.

Marc Almond - The Days Of Pearly Spencer

Destiny's Child featuring T.I. and Lil Wayne - Soldier

The Game featuring 50 Cent - Hate It Or Love It

Olly Murs - Thinking Of Me

The Mavericks - Dance The Night Away

New Kids On The Block - Cover Girl

Roxy Music - Virginia Plain

Scooter - Nessaja

The Who - Pinball Wizard

This was Marc Almond's cover of the David McWilliams song from 1967 with some excellent production from Trevor Horn. Elsewhere, there are two late 60s/early 70s classics by Roxy Music and The Who. Roxy Music still have one song left.

Happy to have given a few songs a consolation point (or two or three). Virginia Plain is the only other song I may have given some points if I hadn't overlooked that it was a #4 - it's the definitive song of Eno era Roxy Music, although my favourite is Do The Strand which didn't chart.

Blonde featuring Alex Newell - All Cried Out

Cleopatra - Life Ain't Easy

Eternal - Oh Baby I...

Hi_Tack - Say Say Say (Waiting 4 U)

Hear'Say - Everybody

Lazy Town - Bing Bang (Time To Dance)

Sean Paul - Get Busy

Zoe - Sunshine On A Rainy Day

This only reached number 53 in 1990 but thanks to a remix and a TV advert it got to number 4 the following year. It was her only top 30 single.

Glad I gave Carrie the one point then, for all Cliff's naff records this is one of his best!

Playing With Knives is a massive tune!

A bit surprised Get Busy has bowed out so soon, I thought that was a generally well remembered and appreciated track.
