Reports Paris defended Britney in blog 'untrue'

Reports that Paris Hilton defended Britney Spears' parenting skills on her MySpace.com blog are untrue, according to Hilton's rep Elliot Mintz.

 

News agencies around the world picked up on Hilton's comments defending her new BFF, posted on the online network yesterday.

 

However, Mintz says Hilton does not have a MySpace page, nor does she keep a blog.

 

The profile, on which the comments were posted, was an unauthorised page, created by a MySpace imposter.

 

In a statement released to TMZ.com today, Mintz said: "Paris did not write it. She does not have a MySpace account."
