Like with Bob Marley i am confused with the sales of Queens Greatest Hits as it changes due to different releases etc, based on those sales Abba Gold has sold more and going by that is the biggest selling album of all time in the UK.

Indeed so. To be clear my GH figure for Queen doesn't include allocated sales for the split on the platinum collection which the OCC have divided by the albums involved and added to their total which brings Queen up and past ABBA. I think that's double counting but officially (OCC) Queen is the best selling album of all time in the UK. :D

Thanks for the yearly update, much appreciated

Thankyou for this, always enjoy reading this annually.

It looks as though Adele has overtaken Lewis Capaldi literally in the last day or two then.

So happy to see Adele is not no1, even if that will be short lived. Credit to Lewis Capaldi - great album!
^ I'm expecting it to be! If it continues at its current rate, I can't see any of the albums above it passing 2m for the decade, unless there's a change in the rules. It's early days though. Thanks for this Gezza!

Hopefully the OCC will change the way they count album streams

I'm sure everybody that searches for Queen listens to their top 10 streamed songs or the This is Queen playlist... if you look for compilations, Queen have so many and Greatest Hits is one of the last that shows up...
