Something is missing in Sara Jo's song. All for Angellina to represent Serbia with a banger! Zorja could slay with the high notes on stage.

Apparently there was some story/message around it that helped it win, but yeah, year-to-year downgrades don't come much bigger than this.

thank god it's in Serbian

there's potential for this to come across as a really artsy stage thing and I'll have to see how the song grows

probably only potential for it to stall in the semis but it feels like quite a while since we've got an entry quite this bizarre in a theatre kid sort of way, like Latvia in the late-00s is the first thing that springs to mind

Putin is actually in control of the Eurovision entries this year and he's trolling us with shit songs.

Yeah it's supposedly some kind of Silvia Night style performance art character piece about the state of Serbian health insurance. I think?

This is in semi 2. If she qualifies she'll have to spend 3 minutes washing her hands four nights in a row.

I'm still coming to terms with this song. No doubt the performance is phenomenal and iconic -- 3 minutes of hand washing and a bit of cult-like staging. The music is where I'm still not very fond of. The vocals really bother me as it is so out of tune with the accompaniment. The chord progression is quite weird too and there is little production in the instrumental which for the first few seconds sounds like a low-budget filler song. Certainly, there is no doubt Konstrakta sells this song amazingly well. I heard there will be a revamp so let's see if the production side of the song is upped while the vocals are more in tune while still adhering to the original style, and then I could properly assess this song.

EDIT: Well there is some production but there is not a lot built onto it.

This is the one I keep coming back to the most, I've even rewatched the performance a fair few times already. It'll probably do a 'Telemoveis' in that people just won't get it, but I'm so glad it's here. It's songs like these that make Eurovision so special.
Really afraid this will get tanked because of the message not coming across but it's clear enough that it's COVID related so might have a chance to be interpreted the way it was intended or close to that. I think they do need to spice things up in the performance though, it gets a bit boring at one point.
This is growing on me sooooo much I'm giving this a 7/10 now aaaaaaaaa
