December 16, 200618 yr Most of my least favourites in the final 12 have gone now, namely The Feeling and Silly Alan. I really like Crazy, surprised it has done so badly in the countdown. Madonna and the All Saints ones are OK, nothing special. Not much of a fan of I Don't Feel Like Dancing. I think the Scissor Sisters older stuff is much better. Looking forward to the rest of the chart anyway.
December 16, 200618 yr the feeling are okay they have had a few good singles and i like their album but its not a surprise to see them quite low but i like them unlucky tho. Edited December 16, 200618 yr by :Matt:
December 16, 200618 yr I loathe the Sisters so I'm glad they're out the way. Love 'Rock Steady' though and I'm surprised that's out the running so soon.

'Pon De Replay' and spine tingling ballad 'Unfaithful' and the amazing 'SOS' sandwiched between the 2. SOS samples Soft Cell's monster 80s smash 'Tainted Love' and is addictive from start to finish. One of my personal favourites of the year - truly just one heck of a song that you have to dance to. Oddly enough Rihanna is one of few artists from her genre I can actually tolerate. December 16, 200618 yr I loved Rihanna at the time and it is one of my favourites of the year, but it hasn't lasted for me and I'm truly bored of it now. :(
December 16, 200618 yr Author http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/GIRLSALOUD.JPG - 05 - Girls Aloud - Something Kinda Oooooh {3500} - Released - October 2006 - Chart Run - 5-{3}-3-7-12-9-14-18->8 - Sales To Date - 133000 [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKbzSc436gk.swf Cheryl, Sarah, Nicola, Nadine & Kimberly were pretty much written off after their last album 'Chemistry' has a pearshaped performance to say the least. But 'Something Kinda Oooh' is a welcome return to form for the UK's biggest girl band of the moment. Outselling and outstaying All Saints & the Sugababes current singles & albums - this track takes us back to the songs that made Girls Aloud our favourites almost 4 years ago.
December 16, 200618 yr Those two tracks are both entertaining enough dancey pop songs, so good that they've both done OK. Very pleased with how this thread is turning out so far. With the exception of Gnarls Barkley, all my favourites from the final 12 are top 4. :)
December 16, 200618 yr I usually enjoy Girls Aloud singles but IMO Something Kinda Ooooh is awful! Don't like it at all.
December 17, 200618 yr Author http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/82876842702.JPG - 04 - Shakira Ft Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie {3850} - Released - June 2006 - Chart Run - 54-3-2-{1}-2-2-3-1-1-1-1-2-2-5-7-6-10-13-13-17-21-28-31-30-28-28-37-49->28 - Total Sales To Date - 485000 [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX9OpZyxdQ4.swf Her Hips are from Aldi which if you didn't know sells poisonous foreign alcopops really cheap to unsuspecting civilians :smoke: But anyway probably one of the worst tracks of the year - Shakira has produced so much better stuff but this song was everywhere across the globe all Summer - wherever you went on holiday add together the massive chav appeal and you have a phenomonal #1 smash ih the making. Doubling up with Wyclef Jean of The Fugees fame - Shakira's 5th official release in the UK follows on from the mammoth 'Whenever Wherever'. 'Underneath Your Clothes' and hewr minor hits 'Objection' and 'Don't Bother'. 16 weeks in the top 10 for this song and its sales are still rising. Shame for Shaki as new single 'Illegal; bombs into the chart at #34 this week :smoke:
December 17, 200618 yr Girls Aloud - great song. As for Shakira, I do like it but I think she's capable of so much more than that.

'Try This' was an awful album with c**p singles, just c**p all round but her 2006 comeback is the album that should've followed up 2002's massive selling 'Mizundastood'. After 'Stupid Girls' success P!nk rocketed to #5 with the beautiful 'Who Knew' about the peril of losing a friend to drugs. This is one of my personal favourites of the year - so touching and moving definately up there as P!nk's best single alongside the classics 'Just Like A Pill' and 'Don't Let Me Get Me' Edited December 17, 200618 yr by The Angel Gabriel
December 17, 200618 yr I quite liked Hips Don't Lie, but I agree it isn't one of Shakira's best. Who Knew on the other hand is definitely one of Pink's best songs. Good track, glad it had a great chart run and has done well in this list.
