Akon lands his second No. 1 Hot 100 hit on the album "Konvicted" as "Don't Matter" jumps 3-1 on the chart, where it is the fastest growing track at radio for a fifth week. The song follows "I Wanna Love You," which held No. 1 for two weeks in December. Another track from the album, "Smack That," peaked at No. 2 in November after making what was then the largest jump (95-7) in the history of the Hot 100.

 

That distinction now belongs to Beyonce and Shakira's "Beautiful Liar," which rockets 94-3 thanks to digital sales of 150,000 copies. The track comes from a new edition of Beyonce's "B-Day" album, due April 3.

its doing well, in the Wed singles update Beekira look like getting a new entry in the top 25, not bad the song has time to grow, i am hoping for healthy physical sales

i think hoping for #1 on itunes like in the US is not realistic in the UK but i hope it cracks top10 soon
