I've been watching highlights from the Africa Cup of Nations over the past few days - it's been nice to see countries I'd never usually watch play football (Comoros is a good example - although probably not the best time to watch them when all of their goalkeepers were ruled out!)

 

Of course the big event for me this month will be the Winter Olympics which I'm very excited about!

Just switched the Senegal - Burkina Faso match on as they blew the final whistle! A shame Burkina Faso weren't able to cause an upset but to reach the semi-finals is still fantastic, particularly given the difficult political situation in the country at the moment.

Been really getting into my snooker again. Shall be watching the tournaments I can watch. There is also the Women's Ashes (one day series) and the Winter Olympics as well as the usual football highlights.

Unfortunately couldn't get a ticket for the Kidderminster v West Ham FA Cup match tomorrow.

Winter Olympics for me followed by the Players Championship snooker.

 

 

Having things on on evenings means I'm slowly getting behind with the Winter Olympics - hopefully I'll be able to catch up tomorrow evening!

My first edition of Cycling Weekly arrived today (finally managed to switch over after ProCycling stopped publishing) - from a skim through it seems decent enough, I'll still very much miss the look and feel of ProCycling though!
