not gonna lie... the album sounds a bit all over the place, but then again her albums always do.

She can do a pure pop gem like 'really dont like u' or 'anywhere u go' and then have mateo or equality lost.

How is that all over the place? It's literally ballads and bops which most albums contain?

She's the most consistent pop star going for me, even moreso than my big faves of Gaga et al. With two of the best songs of the year (2 Die 4 and No One Dies...) this album looks set to continue that consistency!

just a difference in quality is all..

i'm more of a fan of her pure poppier moments like 'anywhere u go' and 'hey u got drugs?' than things like 'equality lost' or 'are u gonna tell her'

You've also named 2 of my absolute faves from here there *_* especially 'hey you got drugs?' but not sure what makes them a purer form of pop over the other two songs  what even is 'pure pop'

Well both HYGD and Anywhere U Go have a regular chord progression and structure that eventually lead to a final big chorus, like most pop songs (see ...Baby One More Time).
I'd say HYGD? has quite a different structure to most songs through the refrain being used so repetitively and intensely in its final minute  Not sure how manu other songs have a similar structure and then a chorus repeated so much. Is it just because the other two songs feature artists that aren't necessarily "pop" artists?
nooo it's that climaticly last chorus of HYDG... i suppose on paper it doesn't feel as simplisticly melodified as AYG

You said both are pure pop.. but now one isn't as pure as the other?

Grapefruit is insanely good. It feels like a natural followup to 'No One Dies', musically. A huge euphoric bop with feeling which she's amazing at.
