Curling Mixed Doubles got underway on Wednesday and Team GB have been doing quite well! Three wins out of four and they're currently second in the round robin. They're facing current leaders Italy tomorrow.
So last of the round robin mixed doubles curling matches tonight and the semi-finals follow closely for the four lucky teams (including GBR!)

Great Britain's wait for their first medal at the Beijing Winter Olympics goes on after curling mixed doubles pair Jen Dodds and Bruce Mouat lost their bronze-medal match 9-3 to Sweden.

The Swedes surged into a 7-1 lead after just three ends and never let up.

We've gotten off to a decent start in the Curling for both the men and women! The men beat Italy, and whilst the women lost to Switzerland they beat defending champions Sweden.

When you only play for two and a half ends at most then you don't deserve to win. We're lucky to have finished as close to the US as we did.

US won 9-7.

01:57 - Freestyle Skiing - Women's Freeski Slopestyle Final Run 2 - Katie Summerhayes, Kirsty Muir

02:24 - Freestyle Skiing - Women's Freeski Slopestyle Final Run 3 - Katie Summerhayes, Kirsty Muir

04:30 - Freestyle Skiing - Men's Freeski Slopestyle Qualification Run 1 - James Woods

05:33 - Freestyle Skiing - Men's Freeski Slopestyle Qualification Run 2 - James Woods

06:05 - Curling - Women's Round Robin - Great Britain Vs Japan

10:00 - Figure Skating - Women's Single Skating - Short Programme - Natasha McKay

11:00 - Freestyle Skiing - Men's Aerials Qualification 1 - Lloyd Wallace

11:45 - Freestyle Skiing - Men's Aerials Qualification 2 - Lloyd Wallace

12:05 - Curling - Men's Round Robin - Sweden Vs Great Britain

12:15 - Bobsleigh - 2-Man Run 3 - Brad Hall/Nick Gleeson

13:50 - Bobsleigh - 2-Man Run 4 - Brad Hall/Nick Gleeson

Sometimes the women curlers look unbeatable other times they could loose to anyone.
Now or never for a medal in regards to the curling, I think it was Albertville 1992 the last time GB failed to win a medal at a Winter Olympics.

Great Britain's women's bid to reach the semi-finals of the Winter Olympics curling is in danger after they slipped to a shock 8-4 loss to China.

Eve Muirhead, Vicky Wright, Jen Dodds and Hailey Duff needed to beat the Chinese - and the Russian Olympic Committee in their final game - to be fairly sure of progressing.

But the Chinese took three in the ninth end to ultimately clinch victory.

Britain now need to beat ROC and rely on results elsewhere.

^ A shame for the women, there's still a chance they could get in but with 5 teams vying for 2 spots it's looking unlikely.

The men's ice hockey has suddenly got very interesting though - both the USA and Canada have been knocked out in the quarter-finals!

Great Britain's hopes of earning two curling medals are still alive as the women squeezed into the semi-finals after the men set up a last-four meeting with the United States.

Eve Muirhead, Vicky Wright, Jen Dodds and Hailey Duff beat the Russian Olympic Committee to progress on the Draw Shot Challenge tie-breaker.

Bruce Mouat's men's side defeated Canada to top the standings.

Mouat, Grant Hardie, Bobby Lammie and Hammy McMillan face the USA at 12:05.

A win for the Scottish quartet would guarantee at least a silver medal as Britain search for their first of the Olympics, and then Muirhead's side will get the chance to do the same on Friday at 12:05 when they meet Sweden

Canada just held on to win the women's hockey 3-2, not quite enough time for the US to make a comeback in the end.
