Posted February 22, 20223 yr For those who do not know, Solid Harmonie were basically a female Backstreet Boys in the 90s with typical Max Martin melodies. I'll be there for you is still a great pop song and a must listen for pop fans. Consisting of one of the girls from 'The Honeyz' it seems they are back. The album could quite easily have been released in 1999 and has some massive choruses and middle eights. Can't believe my eyes could be the twin of 'never had a dream come true'. Not sure what they are doing back and came upon this somehow however it is brilliant. Nothing on Google even about a comeback. They had a No1 album in Holland in 1997 it seems..enjoy. https://open.spotify.com/album/7pLs3kBB6FVP...ource=copy-link Edited February 22, 20223 yr by Sean.
February 22, 20223 yr Huh, seems to be really odd how they've made no waves at all even in the smallest pop communities. They released a single in 2014 called Circus: uX6sFBLwCU4 TWO seems to be released under ToCo Asia Ltd. So I assume they might have some sort of deal there? Huhm, their official Instagram is linking to The 004 aka a former DenDen user who had a "pop group": https://www.instagram.com/solidharmonie/ Random. ToCo has uploaded the album here: AL-VQmaJBGc There's supposed to be a limited edition cd, but I haven't seen it. This is very very weird and slightly off. Edited February 22, 20223 yr by tommie
February 22, 20223 yr Author Have just found something on twitter. I assumed this was new due to the cover but it was their unreleased second album due out in 1999. It is odd they never made it...especially with Max Martin on board.
February 22, 20223 yr Here's the limited edition cd for anyone interested: https://storm3music.com/webshop.html#!/...29--release-tba
February 22, 20223 yr Author I may purchase to show some support. Any pure pop fans need to listen to 'I'll be there for you', pop heaven! Edited February 22, 20223 yr by Sean.
February 23, 20223 yr Did a bit of further research and it seems that the Circus track is a Elisa solo track (feat Solid HarmoniE) that was included on an eight track EP she released, also under Asia ToCo. It seems like that's how this all came about I guess.
February 23, 20223 yr Author Found this info on Reddit about Two, quite interesting: This album was originally recorded for and scheduled to be released in 2000 under Jive Records as a trio between Beki Russo, Elisa Aaron and Jenilca Giusti, as Melissa Graham and Mariama Potts had left the group since their debut album was released in 1997. Jive Records being what it was under Lou Pearlman's leadership… yeah. Around this time the teen pop bubble had burst, TransContinental was exposed, it was a mess. Solid HarmoniE were unfortunate victims as the album was shelved and some of the cuts were shopped around to other acts. For instance, "World Without You" was given to Wild Orchid for their Fire album, featuring a pre-Black Eyed Peas Fergie, and "Intuition" was featured on LIZ's Planet Y2K album in 2019. Officially, the album is registered under Dutch label Storm3 Recordings, and I'm not really sure what the future of SHE is, much less if there is a future, but I'm delighted to see a lost artefact of the millennium teen pop era I value deeply finally seeing the light of day.
