Posted February 26, 20223 yr 24th February 2022 - With their first new release in 7 years, Scorpions back with an album that is well worth waiting for. Promise shown from the lead single Rock Believer carries over into the whole album. Another long delayed album originally scheduled for around 2020/21 but pushed back due to the ongoing pandemic messing with recording sessions etc it's worth the wait. The opening track Gas in the Tank gives a mission statement for the entire album. "Let's play it louder, play it hard / Laid back and little dark / Give me a dirty riff, my friend / There's gotta be more gas in the tank". Only downside is them pricing it at £14 for a CD as a more realistic price might have seen it chart. Tracklist 1. Gas in the Tank 2. Roots in My Boots 3. Knock Em Dead 4. Rock Believer 5. Shining of Your Soul 6. Seventh Son 7. Hot and Cold 8. When I Lay My Bones to Rest 9. Peacemaker 10. Call of the Wild 11. When You Know (Where You Come From) Deluxe Tracks 12. Shoot for Your Heart 13. When Tomorrow Comes 14. Unleash the Beast 15. Crossing Borders 16. When You Know (Where You Come From) Edited February 26, 20223 yr by Chartfridays
March 5, 20223 yr Author I get this falls slightly outside the demographics here but seriously nobody's got anything to say on it? Here's the lead singles.... Finished up at No 18 on the albums chart, which is a bit disappointing to be honest. TllvFtkXMBE syNDdIfKbkw Edited March 5, 20223 yr by Chartfridays
March 5, 20223 yr I think you’re probably right about the first bit, not many threads get made on here for pre-90s band’s new work. Alas that sort of rock isn’t really my thing either.
