So. How many times have you seen the band, where have you seen them, what was it like?

Here's mine (from what I remember)

April 3rd 2004 - London Astoria

This was just as I was becoming a big fan of the band. My boyfriend at the time managed to get a pair of tickets just before it sold out. As soon as I saw the band live, I became hooked and my obsession started!

August 12th 2004 - Brighton Dome

Tickets went on sale for this special gig that was being filmed for what became their 'We are Scissor Sisters... and so are you' DVD (I'm all over it *shudder*). I got to the venue early and were asked if we wanted to come in to see the dress rehearsal. I got to meet Jake inside, then afterwards the band threw an afterparty where I got to hang with the whole band... though it did mean spending three hours in the pouring rain waiting for the first train back to London!

November 2nd 2004 - Brixton Academy

I regret only going to see the band once on their first major UK tour, especially as I missed the amazing Rocky Horror show they put on at Halloween!

August 18th 2005 - Kentish Town Forum

I should have seen the band twice that week as they did a free gig for members of their forum... but my invite went straight to my junk mail. D'oh! This was a fabulous gig. I heard songs like 'Paul McCartney' and 'I can't decide' for the first time! Got chatting to the girl who designed all their outfits after and she dragged Jake out of his dressing room just to talk to me. Bless her!

June 19th 2006 - London Scala

I panicked at this gig as I missed all the tickets that went on sale for forum members. I had to go to the Scala 3 days before in the hopes of getting a ticket. I managed it thankfully! The gig was incredible. So intimate. I remember going to the gig excited about hearing 'I don't feel like dancin'. When I came out, the only song I was talking about was 'Kiss you off'!

September 16th 2006 - Trafalgar Square

The atmosphere at this gig was incredible! As a London boy, it felt amazing to see the heart of London transformed into a Scissor gig! The dancing in the fountains at the end was amazing. Kinda made me wish I wasn't at the front so I coulda done it!

October 31st 2006 - Brixton Academy

The most amazing gig ever! The actual gig was just brilliant. But the whole evening was just perfect. I ran into a friend of mine who dragged me backstage where I got to hang with Ana and have the most fantastic picture taken! I didn't get home til 7am the next day! Fantastic!

November 24th 2006 - Wembley Arena

Really wasn't looking forward to this as the venue seemed too big for them. It was. Lost all the atmosphere of a Scissors gig which was a shame. If it wasn't for me and my friends at the front making up for all the madness at the intimate gigs, it would have sucked!

November 26th 2006 - Wembley Arena

Got in for free as I was selected to film the gig for an upcoming DVD. I didn't enjoy it with a camera in my hand, and gave up filming halfway through to dance!

I was front row at all of them! :cheer:

Also saw them on Paul O Grady a couple of weeks ago... and I'm seeing them at the O2 next July as well as possibly one of the International dates!

Obsessed, moi?
