They should start to announce + release the album soon as long as the hype is still fresh i'm tired of those ''if pre songs doing well album will come soon'' games from labels like aomd is still pulling 100k+ streams on spotify and it girl is literally doing well (reached 1m in 2 days) as non single thats enough proof to give us the album and it might pull a brat by charli xcx and we're getting a ''Thats Showbiz, baby summer'' this year but they need to stop killing the hype ppl are hungry now and i'm scared we might wont get the album this year if streams are sinking why is nobody paying jade the respect she deserves :nono:

I disagree I think the albums definitely coming as planned. The plan was ALWAYS release IT Girl as a promo song followed by single 3 FUFN alongside the album pre-order with it due in March / April?!

 

FUFN has been given the full single treatment with an official video which has already been shot etc so everything’s still on track.

 

I totally understand why they’re doing singles and promo song’s they’re building momentum and hopefully giving the album a little push in streaming numbers when it’s released.

 

I do think they should have put up the pre-order for the album alongside IT Girl but maybe they don’t want pre-orders to go on for 2/3 months as it might kill all hype by the time the album’s released. I’d say 5 weeks or so would be a good timescale for the album pre-orders.

 

 

Not sure if this was posted at the time but definitely my favourite solo JADE interview to date. Really great questions from the host and fans. I wonder if the teased lyrics are from FUFN. :unsure:

She said if she doesn't go with her original title that she has had for 3 years she'd like to release it at some point in the future.

I assumed she was running with the album pre-order dropping the same time as FUFN and then it being out in March/April.

 

I definitely feel they're going to leave it too late because a few more releases like Fantasy (Hype wise) and it will kill all momentum.

 

I was convinced the album was called 'That's showbiz baby' even more so if It girl was originally called 'Filthy'

So has the album actually been delayed? Because I looked at her stories and I haven’t seen anywhere she’s explicitly said as much. If it’s because she’s still undecided on the album title, surely that doesn’t mean it can’t be sorted in time for a March release? :unsure:

I stayed up to watch her interview with Louis on his podcast.

 

Wow wow wow! I’d go as far as to say it was one of the best interviews, yes he was a little cheeky delving into what happened with Jesy but you could really tell it massively affected her and even now she struggles coming to terms with her leaving.

 

It seems as was reported Jesy just seemed to check out of Little Mix and just never spoke to them again (I’m assuming she just couldn’t handle any of it anymore? Very sad) obviously Jade stated there was a lot going on behind the scenes but no major arguments.

 

Jade touched on the album being released in May (She stated it’s been pushed back a bit - So this fits with the March release that was rumoured) Let’s just hope it’s definitely May and doesn’t keep being pushed further back.

 

She’s just such a humble genuinely kind human the album needs to be huge she deserves it all.
