March 23Mar 23 Tbh I can actually see JADE giving us a 14+ track album and adding a decent amount for the deluxe. Ideally 16 tracks standard and 20 deluxe hehe.I'm really keen to know what's coming next. Still not listened to the leaks but Plastic Box seems to be a very clear highlight...so maybe that to lead the album? 👀 Whatever they choose, we need a smooth video rollout, maybe the Angel video director on board, affordable physicals, remixes etc etc.
March 24Mar 24 Author JADE said the album is ready to go, she's already in the studio next week working on new material. She really wants to get on writing/recording for the next album.
March 24Mar 24 Question to those who have heard the leaks: is there a song that sounds like a hit? Maybe even more than FUFN?
March 25Mar 25 I’m guessing she’s starting to tease the album now but not sure it’s the right move to literally advertise your album has leaked for anyone that didn’t know to go searching :/
March 27Mar 27 Jade put in discord that physicals will have photo cards (Like Kpop artists) as she has seen people asking for them.Let's just hope they aren't random 'luck of the draw' photocards because then the sales won't count in the charts.Personally, not a massive fan of photo cards...I'd rather just have some unreal vinyl variants (Preferably signed on the cover but I'd be happy with vinyl inserts)
March 27Mar 27 Finally! She has confirmed today in a Spanish music website interviews that she will announce the album this week o next one. Also she confirmed that she picked the cover!

March 29Mar 29 It's just such a shame she didn't launch the album off the back of The Brits (Obviously it wasn't even ready for a pre-order link) but I do feel like the hype slows down off the back of an underperforming single and everything moves so fast now it feels like The Brits was months ago.Hopefully she teases next week and then the announcement comes Friday (Also payday so that would probably help pre-orders)
March 29Mar 29 I mean she basically said it’s coming last week or this week so HAPPY ANNOUNCEMENT WEEK! (now watch it not happen lol)
March 29Mar 29 Author Yeah I agree, the only big misfires this campaign have been playlisting (but that is on Spotify) and not having the album pre-order ready for straight after the Brits. She's definitely missed out on some pre-orders there.
March 30Mar 30 It’s a shame that the album release is happening with no hype at all, but I’m getting more and more sure about what happened. In the initial interviews, she said AOMD was chaotic, that people would be like “WTF,” and in the end, it became the campaign’s biggest success. I think the AOMD release was meant as an introduction, but they didn’t expect its success and impact. In fact, I believe she and her team were counting on Fantasy being her Espresso or FUFN—a commercial hit—but in the end, the only real hit was the first single, and IT Girl is another song that, with a better structure and proper single treatment, could have done much more. People don’t want a commercial or watered-down Jade; they want the more experimental version. That said, I think AOMD’s success caught them off guard. They probably assumed the other singles would do well just for being more commercial, but that didn’t happen.I don’t think what she’s doing now is necessarily wrong. It’s clear she’s a quality artist with something to offer—unlike her former bandmates. This era has helped her break into the market, start shaping her solo image, etc. If I were her, I’d drop the album, do a few more shows (why hasn’t she announced any solo concerts?), and then come back in September/October with a new single and a new era to try for real success. Kind of like what Chapel has done. That being said, I don’t know how much longer the label will be willing to support her if she’s not generating profits…
March 30Mar 30 I agree, it seems her/their idea was the more straight-forward Pop songs would be her best chance at chart success when in fact the more innovative songs have the most appeal or at least get the most attention. She’s definitely shown versatility with these 5 releases but I think Single 4 needs to be on the more experimental side and gag people the same way Angel did.
