It's up one place to grab a first number one for Tove Styrke, following on where Tove Lo has been twice before, with the fab Show Me Love, just holding off Train with some AM Gold, which I loved back on USA holidays back in the 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's. AM radio that is. Train have come close several times but 2 is as high as they have been. Father John Misty rockets to 7 with a song that sounds like a 1940's standard, but isn't. It's fab though.

 

Highest new entry is the powerful vocals of Bettye LaVette on ODESZA'a The Last Goodbye, a bit of a soul showstopper that one at 11. The UK's new Eurovision entry is a great record shocker! After years of largely blandness (bar the odd one or two), a real contender has been chosen from Sam Ryder, and any record called Space Man is going to win me over anyway. New at 26. Florence gets a second chart entry from the new album with the Grat track that is far more commercial than the actual single, My Love enters higher than King, but both are growing.

 

Imagine Dragons are never far away from my charts over the last 9 years, Bones is no exception, while a Madonna classic returned to the UK sales chart last week so I'm using that as an excuse to chart Frozen again. The Adam Project is the new Ryan Reynolds film on Netflix, and the soundtrack features are also selling on itunes this week, so I've charted Spencer DaviS Group's 56-year old UK hit for the first time, and also re-charting Pete Townsend's 42-year-old minor solo hit. In between Deadmau5 is back again with another new project.

My love is fantastic. And I hate to say it but it's much better than king and I really like that song. She's definitely on a roll.

It's a shame fingers crossed has stalled so hard for you as id love to see it do well.jerr but hopefully at some point it will grow on you proper.

Yes its the original Frozen, I didnt like the remix, but the original has made the sales chart :dance:

 

Pete Townsend is over the end credits to the new Ryan Reynolds Netflix movie, which is pretty good and great for a fairly obscure 42 year old minor hit :lol:
