March 25, 20223 yr Yeah same! She's so genuine and completely committed to whatever she's doing. In a few years she will be unstoppable with that attitude.
March 25, 20223 yr Jasmine was my fave for sure. Taken before her time imo. No, she wasn't the most polished, but she also wasn't half as bad as the judges made out and seemed to have taken to heart that she was not great at drag when she was at her Roscoes appearance.
August 3, 20222 yr This was such a great episode with a lot of good lip syncs! I was so gagged when Jasmine picked Daya and then Daya got to pick the song. :lol: My opinion on the lip syncs: Jasmine vs Daya: Daya won. Jasmine missed the point of the song and just did too much (kind of a theme of all her lip syncs tbh). Daya's height and big mouth helped her a lot as well. Willow vs Bosco: Willow won. Willow ate it UP. I was not expecting her to be that good. Angeria vs Jorgeous vs Camden: Jorgeous won. Camden was a close 2nd. Bosco vs Camden: Camden by a mile. My favourite lip sync of the night. Angeria vs Jasmine: Angeria. I definitely think Angeria had more of the vibe of the song, even when just walking across the stage I felt like she had more stage presence and embodied J.Lo a little bit. Not that Jasmine did badly, but she seemed to do a bit too much again for the song. Bosco vs Jasmine. Bosco ate her up. My second favourite lip sync - Bosco embodied the song so well and I'm glad she showed such a strong performance after two lackluster ones. Jasmine once again did a bit too much for me. I think that Jasmine needed to edit down her dancing and focus more on the actual lip syncing and show her mouth/wording more? She felt very one note/samey throughout the 3 lip syncs she did despite them being different songs/style of songs. I'm not particularly sad to see her go as I felt she couldn't really give much more in the competition. She's going to be a fierce All Stars competitor in the future once she gets a couple years experience post-drag race and the funding that comes with that - as well as her finally being able to live her authentic self. :wub:
