Posted December 17, 200618 yr I would like to ask what people have thought about any support bands they have seen at gigs, and if they have started following them as a result? I absolutely love White Rose Movement who supported in April. Colour of Fire a few years back were awesome, and I couldn't believe that My Vitriol supported in 2001. On the other hand, Little Hell were not a favourite, and neither were the two bands who just supported them. Funny how they get it right sometimes!
December 17, 200618 yr Well, last saturday was the first of many Placebo concerts I've been to, so I can only comment on the two that supported. The Howling Bells I found tolerable, infact I kinda liked the sound of them so I may download some of their stuff and see how I feel. Archie Bronson Outfit I found really terrible, all their songs were a racket and their singer couldn't sing for beans. My friend who came with me fell asleep by their third song in and even someone near me in the audience shouted "you suck" as they went offstage. Placebo were a breath of fresh air after this I think. :D
December 17, 200618 yr I've seen Placebo 3 times, but two of them were on a festival. So the only support band I've seen is Howling Bells 2 weeks ago. I liked them :) I've never seen them live, but I like Colour of fire!
