Against All Odds is a classic, it was a bit overplayed on Heart but it's still pretty iconic and has thankfully outlived that atrocious cover from Mariah and Westlife.

Mirror Man is decent, but they have a much better runner up to come x

Mirror Man and Against All Odds are both great.

It's a pity Against All Odds is one of those songs that's attracted a lot of poundshop covers over the years.

Love AAA and like MM. I've heard 'Mirror Man' on Steve Wrights show a couple of times lately too. Didn't know it peaked as high as #2 tbh.

Edited by Roba.

Love Miror Man. Still love everything Human League from the 80's (and a lot after the 80's). Against All Odds is no In The Air Tonight. It is, however, pure class compared to that cover version. Toy Boy, errr, not really my thing. I used to cruelly refer to her as Snot-Eater before I saw the error in my ways cos Sinitta as a person is perfectly lovely. So in penance I will flagellate myself mentally now.

Done. Now I feel better. Sorry Sinitta! :D

Just realised I own Sinitta's debut album on vinyl :D
Mirror Man is memorable while (Keep Feeling) Fascination is just forgettable. I needed to go to YouTube and discover I've never ever heard the latter and I'm not sure if I want to listen to it again. :teresa:

So this pips “Mirror Man” in the rate as the league exit the rate.

I did think I might be one of the only voters for A Winter’s Tale so was surprised it had got this far. It is cheesy but there’s something about it that makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Thanks Rich for propping me up on that one!

a winters tale is sweet, though it's no Rock On/Oh What A Circus/ City Lights etc etc. :teresa:

French Kiss is annoying novelty held off the top spot by a slightly less annoying novelty.

And I'm having none of this anti-Fascination sentiment - play very loud and singalong! It gives the whole band a go at vocals and I applaud it's welcoming democratic approach and unusual structure, and it goes down well in concert. It's way better than True and it wuz robbed :P

Good thing we all like/dislike different things

I too figured I may be its only voter so threw some considerable weight behind it. It's a lovely Christmas/winter song.

Swing the Modd/French Kiss, must be a candidate for worst top 2 ever :o

Some thought their career was over by the time the late 70s rolled around but this proved they had more hits In them becoming the festive runner up for the year!
