In total? Never been to one so no clue at all ;)

Me either, I think years ago they were less controlled and anyone could go but in later years they limit it.

I'd be the same plus for me part 2 is the better of the two albums.

I'd say the Leeds one last year had about 500 people maybe, don't think it was sold out though since you could still line up outside if you wanted to.
If it makes number 1 I wonder how many other artists have had 3 or more different greatest hits go number 1.

I’m curious about that too, it’ll be a remarkable feat for Steps if that’s never happened before!

I had had a look at as many artists I could think of that would warrant having 3 greatest hits or more (The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, The Clash, The Kinks, Madonna, Cher, Kylie, Mariah, Celine, Whitney, Oasis, Bananarama, Diana Ross, The Supremes, The Jacksons, Michael Jackson, Elvis, Rod Stewart, Elton John, David Bowie, Aretha Franklin, and several more) and these were the ones I found with 3 or more:

Elvis Presley

1. Elvis 40 Greatest (1974)

2. Elv1s 30 #1 Hits (2002)

3. Elvis The King (2007)

4. If I Can Dream (2015) – With the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

5. The Wonder Of You (2016) – With the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

Abba

1. Greatest Hits (1985)

2. Greatest Hits Volume 2 (1989)

3. The First Ten Years (1982)

4. Gold (1992)

Michael Jackon

1. 18 Greatest Hits (1983) – credited to Michael Jackson & Jackson 5

2. HIStory (1995)

3. Number Ones (2003)

4. The Essential Michael Jackson (2005)

Rod Stewart

1. Sing It Again Rod (1973)

2. Greatest Hits (1979)

3. You’re In My Heart (2019) – With the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

With ABBA Gold being so massive and dominating, it often slips my mind that they actually had a few different Greatest Hits before it! Or that all of those had reached #1 :o

I really hope Steps can do it. Even though it’s been achieved before, it would be pretty amazing for them to be listed alongside the above artists!

Thanks for posting the videos, whats going on with H he is absolutely caked in make up, that aside it was a good medley and nice interview although H did say the chart battle is very close ^_^

Thanks for those @Jay

Oh, and my cassette was send separately. Hopeful they got back to you as well @Jay?

Good that you got sorted and the cassette arrived.

If they more promotion coming they might adapt the megamix for different songs to be included.

Great megamix performance, I love that they are always up for singing live it seems lately.

I hope they can hold onto number 1  it'd be so frustrating if they get beaten.

Ya it will be very disappointing if they get beat, agree about the live performing and its great they perform way more live than they ever did before.
The deluxe 2 cd as i mentioned earlier was sold out on Golden Discs Ireland and i see its also sold on the official steps store aswell, hopefully more become available as there clearly is demand for it.

It needs to be made available again.

They should allow it on pre order again while out of stock.

I hope its not a limited run as its well worth buying over the 1 cd version.

Absolutely, more should be made available. It’s well worth the purchase.
