Many Little Monsters mention that HMH is prominent in the film, but is it to the ordinary people? Time will tell. I just read a review that didn't mention the song or Gaga at all.

Edited by Sour Candy

I've seen the film! From what I remember this is when it's used in the film:

You can hear most of the song faintly in the background during a scene with Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly & her daughter in the bar probs around 30 mins into the film.

A later scene with Cruise & Connelly there is an instrumental version of parts of the song

And then obviously the song is played at the end of the film. It's the film version posted in the HMH thread the other day. That f***ing horrible intro isn't in the film tf *.* As y'all probs heard with the film version, there's only about 2 mins of Gaga singing the song as its proceeded by like that minute intro. However I re-watched the original the other day too and was shocked to find that Take My Breath Away is never played in full during the film (again its kind of split into song being heard faintly in the background, instrumental versions, then like half the song being played in one scene) so I guess it makes sense that technically HMH never appears in full too!

Ooooh! That's really interesting to read :o Thanks for the insider info! What did you think of the film itself away from the song?

I loved it! A great and entertaining blockbuster and the action + visuals are fantastic! I love the first film (tho I think part of me loves it for how unironically messy and 80s it is) but this one is definitely a step-up!

Being credited as a Lady Gaga album!

The soundtrack is a very cinematic experience. Some great instrumental moments throughout. Will I listen again/frequently? No. But for what it is, it does the job *_*
