June 6, 20223 yr Steve Cooper for me! Don’t get why the Ukrainian football team are hero’s? I understand their country is at war but they haven’t went back home to fight like some have!

I'd say that managing to perform to a level of excellence in your chosen field whilst your country, culture and national identity is being systematically destroyed by another, one that you once considered a brother nation, and knowing that people you grew up with may have been killed and places you loved back home no longer exist is pretty damn impressive and worthy of being deemed as heroes. To flip your question what has Steve Cooper done that is more deserving of being considered a hero than that?
