October 10, 20222 yr Arsenal's big problem will be they need to get 90+ points -which I don't think they will get if they get any injuries or loss of form (which will happen). They also have all their "big" games away from home in the run-in too. Probably have to beat City or ensure they don't lose both games as well.
October 10, 20222 yr No way Arsenal are winning the title this season but they probably will get top 4 unless their form collapses massively in the 2nd half of the season. I think Man City will be about 15 points at least ahead by the end of the season. On the subject of Arsenal they seem to have played an abnormal amount of home games so far this season, feels like they play at home every week
October 10, 20222 yr Author Steven Gerrard says he needs his Aston Villa players to become "headline writers" if they are to improve on their disappointing early-season form. Villa missed the opportunity to move up to ninth in the Premier League with Monday's 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest. While Villa are unbeaten in four, they have managed just seven goals from their nine top-flight matches so far. "The important thing is how I get this team to be more potent," Villa boss Gerrard told Sky Sports.
October 15, 20222 yr Author I suppose the Wolves board are pining for the time when they finished 7th and were the furthest thing from relegation candidates. Seems a pretty facile decision to return to Nuno.
October 15, 20222 yr Author Brendan Rodgers makes the game so entertaining with his eloquent appraisal and analysis
October 15, 20222 yr Author Fair play - Cherries top half of the table. Gary O'Neil surely deserves a chance to stay on at the helm until the end of the Season.
October 16, 20222 yr Author 150m spent and Nottingham Forest waited 80 odd mins before bringing on their 18m striker.
October 16, 20222 yr Author Villa seem to be exactly what they were a year ago. A team struggling to define itself having been promoted, stayed up by the skin of their teeth and lost its key player
October 19, 20222 yr Author Everton could have played all night without another shot, never mind a goal
October 20, 20222 yr Author Fulham XI: Leno; De Cordova-Reid, Diop, Ream, Robinson; Reed, Palhinha; Willian, Andreas, Kebano; Mitrovic. Aston Villa XI: Martinez; Konsa, Mings, Bednarek, Young; Ramsey, Luiz, McGinn; Bailey, Watkins; Ings.
October 21, 20222 yr It couldn't have been more fitting that a Mings own goal was the last act of Gerrard's tenure
October 21, 20222 yr He had to go really, he'd lost the fanbase and I do think Beale was his tactics man (although I really rate Critchley too who he brought in), he was very highly thought of at Liverpool. Can see Marsch being the next one to go as the same atmosphere is bubbling over at Leeds now as well..
October 21, 20222 yr Author Next Aston Villa Manager Odds: (William Hill) Ruben Amorim 10-11f Sean Dyche 7-1 Mauricio Pochettino 8-1 Unai Emery 8-1 Thomas Frank 8-1 Michael Beale 12-1 Julen Lopetegui 12-1 Rafael Benitez 14-1 Kjetil Knutsen 16-1 Marcelo Bielsa 20-1
October 22, 20222 yr Author Dominic Calvert-Lewin could hardly have done more to impress the watching Southgate.
October 23, 20222 yr By only drawing at Southampton Arsenal have missed out on being the first top-flight team to win all their games under a single Prime Minister
