If we go from De Gea to Pickford that'll be a disaster. But he's probably an upgrade on today's version of Lloris.

I don't rate Pickford, but you need to a keeper who is good with his feet to play how Ten Haag wants to play.

Arsenal showed today how far ahead they are of Man Utd at this moment in time. Not sure whether this is a flash in a pan season or long term for Arsenal, it's really hard to tell with the World Cup in play and Liverpool & Chelsea's seasons interupted by injuries. Thought the grit they showed today though reminded me a lot of Liverpool betwen 18-20. Nketiah has turned in to a quite a nifty player too.

Arsenal deserved to win as they were the better team but we shouldn't dwell too much on the defeat even though to lose in the last minute is more painful than a normal defeat. We've still improved massively compared to last season and we've got a lot to look forward to for the remainder unlike this time last year. Might come back to bite me at the end of the season but I'd put good money on Arsenal being trophyless this season, still not convinced by them.
Let's also not forget who put the "1" underneath the L column under Arsenal's name in the league table this season......

Confirms its merely a 2-horse race now and it'll come down to the matches between Arsenal and City themselves most likely.

Great match to watch though. Both teams scored stunners and conceded poor scrappy goals.

Everton have sacked manager Frank Lampard after less than a year in charge at Goodison Park.

Defeat at fellow strugglers West Ham United on Saturday was Everton's ninth loss in 12 Premier League games.

Nobody with the right sense would even consider taking on the Everton job right now. Who wants to walk into such a toxic club as that midway through a season with all that expectation. They know they would struggle to recruit any decent managers right now who would want the job. Lampard will be gone by end of the season but they will be relegated this time and it’s well overdue.

That didn’t take long.

Harry Kane has equalled Jimmy Greaves' record as Tottenham's all-time top scorer with his 266th goal for the club.

The 29-year-old England striker reached the landmark with the opening goal in Monday's game at Fulham, his 199th in 300 Premier League games for Spurs.

Greaves, who started his career at Chelsea, scored 266 goals in 379 games for Spurs between 1961 and 1970.

Kane, who made his Spurs debut in 2011, has played 415 times for the club.

As expected,

Everton have named Sean Dyche as their new manager on a two-and-a-half-year contract until June 2025.

The Toffees sacked Frank Lampard last week with the club 19th in the Premier League and two points from safety.

Dyche, 51, had been out of work since he was dismissed by Burnley last April after almost 10 years at the Clarets.

He is Everton majority owner Farhad Moshiri's seventh managerial appointment since buying into the club in February 2016.

They'll be fine now. But what'll happen is exactly what happened under Allardyce. Keeps them up first season then the fans will complain of boring football and he'll get booted out next season.

Leicester chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has cleared the club's outstanding £194m debt to parent company King Power International (KPI).

The club owed the amount in loans to KPI, which is owned by the Srivaddhanaprabha family.

A debt-to-equity transfer to KPI was completed to relieve the club of its outstanding debts.

Leicester said the move was evidence of "KPI's commitment to supporting the club's long-term sustainability".

Sean Dyche says Everton did try to recruit players in January, but the quality of the signings "had to be better" than those players already at the club.

The Toffees sold forward Anthony Gordon to Newcastle in a £45m deal but did not sign any new players before the transfer window shut, much to the frustration of the club's supporters.

Dyche, 51, joined Everton on a two-and-a-half-year contract until 2025, on Monday.

He stressed: "All I have seen is hard work, particularly in the recruitment area.

OK, welll you didn't do a great job did you, Everton??

Tottenham's board has rejected claims by the club's Supporters' Trust that it has not invested enough in the team.

The Trust wrote to the board last month highlighting concerns in a number of areas, including recruitment.

In its reply, the board said more than £500m had been spent on players since the club's new stadium opened in 2019.

"It's important that we deal with facts - our spend levels quite clearly show that we have backed our football side," read the letter.

"The club has invested heavily in the squad. This is a continual process with the aim of standing the club in good stead on the pitch for years to come."

Pep and Klopp's teams struggling in the same season.. no idea if it's the World Cup season but think both teams have similar sorts of problems.

Arsenal's to lose now
