The comparison was made with Ian's voice in most Stones stuff to the singers in this band...

I think you need your ears tested - they don't sound like each other at all!

voted for Psychocandy ...the best album for any year.still sounds fresh n amazing.

Correctamundo... I reckon this is one of the albums which should be required listening for every up and coming Indie or Alternative band... Along with "Velvet Underground and Nico", "The Queen Is Dead" and "Unknown Pleasures"..... This is the benchmark to which every Indie/Alt band should aspire....

In terms of music, definitely... In terms of creating a Cultural/Zeitgeist phenomenon which inspired a generation, Nirvana were acres ahead of Mascis and Co, like it or not.. We all know it should have been Dinosaur/Pixies/Sonic Youth that got all the fame and whatnot, but unfortunately that aint how it worked out.... It's a bit like the situation you have now with the whole "Gothic Rock" thing, instead of Cristina Scabbia and Lacuna Coil stomping the world, we have Amy Lee and Evanescence....

by any chance did your film course also have a music option???
