Posted June 26, 20223 yr Three part documentary started tonight and continues tomorrow and Tue at 9, about the Al Hili murders in the French Alps 10 years ago this Sept. Doubt we'll learn much new though. French police still aren't sure whether the family were the intended victims or the cyclist, Sylvan Mollier. Al Hili's brother was a suspect but released due to lack of evidence although they did fall out over the inheritance from their parents a few years before. Mollier married a rich pharmacist and owner and heiress to several pharmacy shops. Her father is rumoured to not have approved of the union. Also rumours that the wife, a dentist, could have been the target and not Al Hili. The British cyclist who came across the scene first is an odd one. He didn't report it immediately as he said he couldn't get a phone signal but police have proved there was a good signal there Both daughters, now 14 and 17, live in undisclosed locations and have 24 hour armed police protection as they were eye witnesses and could recognise the killer. This will remain for as long as no-one is convicted. Edited June 26, 20223 yr by cider man
