My favourite Sugababes song

I missed Heidi on this and how she sung it tbh, however I appreciate Siobhan tried to make it her own and changed it a little.

It's nice to see them performing this song again.

I don't think they've ever performed it before so it's nice to see they've whipped it out. The audience seems really receptive to it too, so they should keep it in their setlists tbh.

It really was lovely to see; Siobhan sounds so so so lush
It sounds amazing!!!! We also need more upbeat tracks to dance too of course.
That was really good. It may be an unpopular request but I'd love studio recordings of some of the 2.0 ad 3.0 singles with Siobhan on them.

Nothing 3.0, but I’d love to hear updated studios of the Angels to Taller era with Siobhan. See how some of these tracks were supposed to sound (and of course there’s not one ive heard yet that Siobhan hasn’t improved)

True, I was more thinking just About You Now but I could live without that. Angels, Three and Taller singles plus a few album tracks would suit me fine.

Oh please no.

At best an acoustic EP or finally a live album/Blu-Ray, but no on anything else. It's just tacky to re-record old tracks and I'm grateful they never attempted it before.

I am up for a live greatest hits, acoustic, and or re-imagine of ALL their hits (One Touch - Spotlights and Catfarts).

Of course firstly we need a new album if any music releases.

No it’s just tacky to re-record them they weren’t ever “supposed” to have Siobhan on them, one touch sounds nothing lke the follow up albums. Also siobhan left that was her choice they are not her songs.

I always wonder if people who makes statements like this have actually listened to One Touch, Angels with Dirty Faces and Three beyond the singles (but even then - Run for Cover was essentially the blueprint for songs like Stronger).

As for the whole re-recording business, I feel the same way the way I feel about Kate Bush's 1986 re-recording of Wuthering Heights - you just can't recapture the magic of those old recordings, despite it being technically better, because they're time capsules and moments in time. They're not perfect, but they're not meant to be.

Of course, it's one thing if we're talking about them releasing a live cd/blu-ray (we can dream!), doing an acoustic EP or doing something in general new and interesting with those tracks - ie if someone samples or puts a new spin on an old track I'm fine with the current line-up re-recording vocals for it. But re-recording them with new studio vocals but the same backing track just never sounds right and is in all honesty pointless.

Ok nothing like is a bit of an extreme statement for the whole album, but there is nothing like Freak on there which is essentially the song that pushed Suagababes up into the major leagues.
