July 30, 20223 yr Author Number One Entry TzEU5idD7-s Wow! I love the soundscape of this track. The synths depict the atmosphere amazingly. The contemplative mood in this track hits me hard. Then, you have the grand buildup to the drop at the end, superb! Highest New Entry gmFnByca1aI It starts off quite peacefully but it has done enough to keep your attention with the beautiful melodies harmonies. It then goes off at the end which makes me go "this is the hit!". Spectacular! Second Biggest Jump 75U40XCF-As Since Detach's song was introduced last week, let me introduce this wonderful Balkan ballad. Zorja impressed me loads back in the Serbian NS this year with her belter of her name. This time she is back with Lavine and I love the instrumentation here even more. The song might not have that powerful moment like Zorja but the melody line is amazing and you can really feel the power. This is a great example of a Balkan ballad with the strings too! One to Watch JxHeLMdkaNY This is really good. Very rarely do we see pop song like this in Hong Kong but this has impressed me a lot with the emphatic drop and the second chorus especially is a whopper with the instrumental break. There are a lot of elements taken from typical K-pop songs but they have utilised them well here. Liking the melody loads and for sure this could get even higher. Edited July 30, 20223 yr by uhsting
July 31, 20223 yr Hey uhsting, hope you're having a good day so far! My highlight of your chart this week is 'Nova Imperatrix' entering, the electronic/strings fusion definitely caught my attention in BJSC this month. Hope it'll do well *.*
August 1, 20223 yr Author Hey uhsting, hope you're having a good day so far! My highlight of your chart this week is 'Nova Imperatrix' entering, the electronic/strings fusion definitely caught my attention in BJSC this month. Hope it'll do well *.* Hi Jade! Thanks for asking me about the day :D Nova Imperatrix is a great trance track and the 8-minute version is superb. It's not like the typical extended versions where a long intro and outro are inserted and the core part of the track remains untouched. The 8-minute version extends ideas of the buildup and the drop like Heal Me's extended version, which works well and the tension is better built too. Hope some voters pick up on that and the song will do well in the end!
August 2, 20223 yr Hello! I'll be fine  it's such a fine song. Glad it's still hanging around for you! All these nights is fab. I'm not sure if you charted it last week or not, I can't remember but this is very instantly likeable for him. ^_^
August 3, 20223 yr I'm quite embarrased that you support Francis Karel more than I do. Wish I could give him more supports, but "You're Too Close" is still the only song of him I enjoyed much. -_- Of course, a little shout-out to "Nova Imperatrix" for being on the top 50.
August 3, 20223 yr Hi Uhsting! :) Well that number one strikes me as a guaranteed BJSC qualifier, pretty good, no pressure on entering it though...! I'm also liking the Odesza track. just added it to my itunes basket, ta for the tip! :) Liked your BJSC entry, too, Good chart! B-)
August 3, 20223 yr Author Hello! I'll be fine  it's such a fine song. Glad it's still hanging around for you! All these nights is fab. I'm not sure if you charted it last week or not, I can't remember but this is very instantly likeable for him. ^_^ I'll Be Fine is a melancholic banger! Loved it  I think I had All These Nights on my chart last week. It is a decent bop but not sure if he could break it to the top 50 next week! Thanks James! I'm quite embarrased that you support Francis Karel more than I do. Wish I could give him more supports, but "You're Too Close" is still the only song of him I enjoyed much. -_- Of course, a little shout-out to "Nova Imperatrix" for being on the top 50. Francis Karel is probably more famous internationally than locally tbh. Small Talk is an amazing ballad and it feels genuine. It grew on me slowly but it got there in the end! Nova Imperatrix is an amazingly produced trance track. This track makes me dive into a new release playlist for trance music and honestly it further shows how good Noa Imperatrix is! Thanks Ken! Hi Uhsting! :) Well that number one strikes me as a guaranteed BJSC qualifier, pretty good, no pressure on entering it though...! I'm also liking the Odesza track. just added it to my itunes basket, ta for the tip! :) Liked your BJSC entry, too, Good chart! B-) At this point I'm going to have a big headache for my next entry because honestly most of them sound like definite qualifiers with a few probably challenging for the win  Light Of Day is definitely a hit! The collab is phenomenal and there is meaning behind with the video and the tape recording. Loved it loads  Glad you liked my entry ICONIC which was a number one a few months ago. Still scratching my head at the song being the one that ends my lovely Q streak! Thanks John!
