So the new owners of DC have decided to never release this film so they can claim the 80m dollars spent on it as a write off. Busy cancelling all the Arrowverse shows too, DC's owners have decided they want to be Marvel. I'd suggest getting some good scriptwriters and directors on board then. They might as well start with the comics professionals who've been running the fab groundbreaking DC animated TV shows and movies for 30 years, from Batman Adventures, Justice League, and many a Batman movie among many. The Wonder Woman movie was good because they basically remade the original animated movie as live action. The second Wonder Woman wasn't very good because they made it up from scratch.

 

So, my wish to see Barbara Batgirl Gordon messing around with Nightwing's Dick will never be. How annoying!

I have read a few articles on this - does seem a bit of a mess and an opportunity to write off a loss. Ultimately when this movie was signed off, the landscape looked like cinema was on its legs and streaming was the future - of course that has completely changed now and there is little money in these sorts of movies for streaming numbers.

 

I've read The Flash has tested very well with audiences and they are wanting to do a DC Multiverse somehow and Batgirl introduced some characters they want to save.. bit of a mess. Ultimately feel sorry for the cast and film makers.

The Flash has reportedly tested very well indeed. Sadly Ezra Miller has seemingly daily headlines of abuse and various dodgy behaviours, and now there's burglary to add-on in an attempt to self-career-damage and DC-wreck. At this rate DC will nothing left on the schedule unless they bung The Flash out pronto before it becomes unreleasable. Therapy might help (or a rehab centre), cos lack of cash can't be the issue, so fingers-crossed for that all-round.

DC have also got Aquaman 2 (March) coming next year, hoping The Flash clicks with the audience I'm still in two minds though. Also Joker 2: Folie A Deux has been announced along with Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn, releasing October 4th, 2024, apparently they are turning it into a musical. The first Joker movie was really good, bit different and it really stood as one of DC's finest movie to date, along with Wonder Woman.

 

Batgirl was doomed to fail, as its been toss about for the past 2 years.

 

Shazam! : Fury of the Gods and Black Adam are out later this year, Black Adam looks good, seen the trailer for it.

goodo about Shazam, the first one was fun, and Black Adam looks good too, almost a Justice Society movie, and I always rated them back in the comics days. So that's 4 at least not too long to wait for! :yahoo:
