Posted December 20, 200618 yr this is muffin the mule which reminded my mum of Sir John Mills which reminded me of a show i watched a bit of the other night at about 2am in the morning. http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/38055000/jpg/_38055078_mule_150.jpg itv religious dept's music show featuring reformed band v v sucessful 90s band kula shaker. now the show said they had one of the biggest album debuts in the chart with their album and that q mag said they were the most exciting band that was around. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/1b/KulaShaker_K.jpg so with t*ke th*t having #1s in the album and singles chart, do you think that this band can be the 'alternative' reformation success after 10 years? what are their chances? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/e2/Crookpicture.png sorry while i go totally imdb on you all but i thought that the singer bloke Crispian Mills looks like he could be played by Mackenzie Crook
December 20, 200618 yr Frankly, I thought they were bloody awful.... The absolute WORST sort of retro-hippy-drippy, smug, upper-middle-class bollocks imaginable... And they got into serioius sh!t for using that Hare Krishna chant without permission if memory seves.... They have NO chance of success now, things have moved on...
December 20, 200618 yr They reformed about 10 months ago. They're currently on the same circuit of small pub shows as Rick Witter and the Dukes. They have no chance whatsoever of having a hit again. That won't stop them headlining a tent at T in the Park though - I swear that Scottish late 20-something retro fools are to blame for the existence of Kula Shaker and Ocean Colour Scene today.
December 23, 200618 yr they are great...!! Will Jay darlington be in Kula Shaker? as i know he plays keyboards for Oasis.
