Although if you look at it, a small, FAKE 6-place drop, like Hollier/LLLTW out of the top 10, or Black Coffee by All Saints, wasn't that bad! AND it shows top 10 SUCCESS! That’s not true doll! Spice Girls outsold the previous week’s #1 by Steps by a large amount, and also quite a few of the prior #1s too. Westlife sold a few thousand more a week later. So only one side of the sandwich was bigger x

I didn't realise Black Coffee only sold 60k :o No wonder it flew down the charts and was out in 5 weeks! Just like Hollier/LLLTW too oop

 

100k was seen as a YUGE flop for rhem though. They should have relessed the same week as Steps to try snd squeak 2 weeks at no 1, though Martine would have sold more thsn their second week soo :/ But outselling them almost 3-1 would have looked much better thsn thr close battle with a boring Tiffany from Eastenders song!!
