Tony Bennett had a top 40 hit as recently as 2011 (although I take it the stats above are only considering top 20 hits).

Indeed, something to do with Lady Gaga - I saw them at the Montreux Jazz Festival, amazing synergy between them.

It was actually a posthumous Amy Winehouse collab! (But yes he has appeared in the album chart even more recently with a couple of albums with Gaga)

I can add under the oldest artists thread these 2 Bands, 1 Orchestra and 1 Royal Society - not solo artists of course:

Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1842 and had one hit in January 1972 - "Theme from 'The Onedin Line'"

Band of the Black Watch was founded in 1881 in Scotland; one hit in October 1975 - "Scotch on the Rocks"

Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band was also founded in 1881 in England; "Floral Dance" was No 2 for 6 weeks around Christmas and New Year 1977 (McCartney's "Mull of Kintyre" was to blame...)

Royal Society for the Protection of Birds [RSPB] was founded in 1889 in Manchester; "Let Nature Sing" was a hit for 1 Top 20 week in May 2019.
