I don't understand why they're doing this as no-one can compete with the X-Factor winner. The best they could do is #2.

ISTM '#2' is a good description of all their singles... :)

whats istm?

It DOES on the otherhand, provide a digital way for under 18s to secure a single.

McFly may be "at it again" but you do have to give it to the cunning person at the record label that knows how to exploit all the young fans out there.

And, (and I'm going to be killed for saying this) I think the song is nice.

There wouldn't be such annoyance, if say, Girls Aloud were doing it (another pop act).

And besides, in all honesty, the record is going to slip from the charts pretty soon anyway, considering their poor chart history.

It's only a bit of fun pop. :(

They clearly aren't making money for their record company through record sales, which highlights the point: what is the point of the band? Their singles all sound extremely similar and are clearly not pushing up album sales. I predict they'll be dropped by Summer '07 :)

I don't see what the big deal is. It's not their fault anyway, their record company will be up their arses all the time trying to push them to sell more.

And with the album doing quite badly, I actually feel very sorry for them as i do for other pop bands signed to a massive money grabbing label.

They may well be desperate but it's not their fault! Anyway whatever, their album is actually a very good piece of pop music.

haha never knew there album sales where THAT low

Oh yeah, I forgot, it is the brainless Mcfly afterall -_-

There desperate, but do we really need another chart run like this?

-1-7-15-27-38-OUT- ?

No -_-

They are, 3 weeks in the top 40 for an album doesn't create a massive amount of sales :smoke:

Has Wonderland gone platinum on sales? :o I know it has shipped. But still can't be much over platinum. 300k for a #1 album. Pretty c**p tbh -_-

6-22-40-45-53 - considering their huge fanbase, that's pretty crappy.

yes it went platinum ages ago like dec last year.they won't get dropped they have hight chart placings and they are making the label money if not through singles and albums bt sell out tours and stuff like that

That's true, if they make money through tours then they won't get dropped. High chart positions don't come into it if there's no sales. If the songs don't sell then the tickets don't sell. I think the public are becoming rather bored with the band.

On your own mate  ;)

what do you mean by that?

lol I thought you was talking to yourself :P :P

That'll be why their 2007 tour sold out in 2 hours then. ^_^
