Posted December 20, 200618 yr Keisha confirmed that Sugababes and GA will release "Walk this way" on the 12th or the 19th March of 2007! :cheer: :cheer: The original single (Aerosmith/Run DMC) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LHxpQeb318 Edited December 20, 200618 yr by Poprocks87
December 20, 200618 yr Is it a cover of the Run DMC/Aerosmith song? But cool, looking forward to it!! :) Love, Kirsty xx
December 20, 200618 yr I got an email to appear in the music video. They want fans of either band to turn up, it's like a gigantic "versus" video in London. The song's for Children In Need btw. Basically, Girls Aloud fans have to dress "rock chic/punk" and Sugababes fans dress in "urban".
December 20, 200618 yr I'm not sure how this will work really :o Its Really Rocky, Fabulous, cant wait to hear it

That's what I was thinking. ;) Quite an obvious song choice I must admit, but i'm sure i'll love it anyway. :D
December 20, 200618 yr I'm very disappointed by the obvious song choice. It would have taken the likes of Simon Cowell & Louie Walsh 0.2 seconds to have come up with this. All they will achieve, is undermine their relatively hard earned credibility with a bad cover version of an iconic song. :arrr: They will never be Run DMC or Aerosmith & they should have left it alone. Covering Salt'n'Pepa's Push It; TLC's Ain't Too Proud To Beg or En Vogue's Free Your Mind would have been a much much better idea. Hopefully, the Peter Kay/Matt Lucas & friends collaboration on the Proclaimers "500 Miles" will be miles better.
December 20, 200618 yr What I posted in the Sugababes forum: haha knew it! oo the Run DMC version, So it might be that the Sugababes do the rapping and Girls Aloud to the singing, Steven Tylers bit Dunnow how it will work and sound though, and they better not murder it, it's the best Hip Hop/Rock songs of all time  Woulda been easier if they dont the original Aerosmith version though, would sound ALOT better -_-
December 20, 200618 yr I think this is a bad idea... the sugababes rapping doesn't sound good... and who will play instruments?
December 20, 200618 yr I think this is a bad idea... the sugababes rapping doesn't sound good... and who will play instruments? Thats IF they rap, they might sing the rapping parts, it sounds ALOT better
December 20, 200618 yr I think this is a bad idea... the sugababes rapping doesn't sound good... and who will play instruments? Sugababes have done a fair bit of rapping on their albums eg. Same Old Story, Blue, Buster But this can't be good for them, it's essentially a made-on-tv band collaborating with a homegrown talent Just hope it isn't cheesy :(

Same Old Story, Blue, Buster But this can't be good for them, it's essentially a made-on-tv band collaborating with a homegrown talent Erm... here we go... A homegrown talent? It would be quite true if the same girls were in the band since the begining. Sugababes is more a trademark than a band actually. I love their music though. And Girls Aloud haven't come to what they are today thanks to Popstars. A reality TV show doesn't give 14th top10 and 4 platinium albums. Edited December 20, 200618 yr by Poprocks87

Yes, a homegrown talent AKA not manufactured Girls Aloud have come to where they are thanks to a songwriting team, nothing to do with themselves surely?
December 21, 200618 yr Author LOL and what would be the original Sugababes with themselves?? >> a solo singer lol! Sugababes is a manufactured band, replacing a member a year is what I call a manufactured band. What does Amelle have in commun with Keisha & Heidi? Nothing but putting her voice on re-recorded songs. This debate is pointless though, I love both of them, I'm so delighted about this duet, and I hope it will be a huge hit. Completely wrong mate :( Manufactured is when a company puts a groupwith the specific purpose to sell records, the original Sugababes formed themselves then found a deal Not quite a member a year either is it, 1998-2006, and it's only happened twice Mutya left halfway through the last albums promotions so what other choice did they have, at least they wrote a new song to put on the albums re-release But anyways this is for charity
