August 15, 2024Aug 15 The team crest has changed suddenly and I don't think I like it. What was the reason for ditching such an iconic emblem? :unsure: I think we have had that emblem since around 1990 but previous eras have had different variations of that new one!

Fear they may push closer this season though. Glad his fellow Dutchman Graverbach started the first game as if he stays fit feel he could be a top player. Don’t think Jurgen ever really wanted him. Only contract I worry about is Allison, we can replace Trent/Salah/Virgil imo! Plus they are all the other side of 30 apart from Trent!

August 28, 2024Aug 28 Author Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili next summer. The Georgia international will move to Anfield for £25m plus £4m in add-ons. Mamardashvili will remain at Valencia this season before moving to Liverpool to compete for the No 1 shirt with Alisson and Caoimhin Kelleher.
August 28, 2024Aug 28 Author Liverpool have agreed a deal with Juventus for Federico Chiesa. The fee is £10m up front plus £2.5m in add-ons based primarily on first-team performance. Chiesa has already said yes in principle to moving to Anfield, with Liverpool ready to hand him a four-year contract.

Agree that I'm not sure he's what we need.. can only assume we plan to play 4 attackers in games where we're expected to dominate the ball. Seems like an amazing deal, but think we're lightly stacked in the midfield and ultimately this is where I think we'll fall short, especially in the head to heads vs City & Arsenal.
August 29, 2024Aug 29 He also has a poor injury record! That’s a myth. He had an ACL but he’s only missed days/weeks away from that. Always a risk with ACL injuries but usually takes a good 18 months before they’re anywhere near the same level previously.
