Bournemouth have signed winger Ben Gannon Doak from Liverpool for around £25m.

Doak has agreed a five-year deal with the south-coast club.

The Premier League champions have now generated more than £227m from sales this summer.

Liverpool included a buy-back option in the deal for the 19-year-old, as they did when selling Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen.

    Shocking news

  • He certainly does deserve a lot of credit but to see him lift the trophy in a parade would be very John Terry Champions League final 2012 🤣

  • Don't think they would win it myself! Way too many new players to have to hit the ground running all at once.

I’d keep him, he was amazing at the euros, plus we need a bigger squad!

Amazing we have three fit left backs and all of our right backs are crocked!

Must admit, I'm not feeling too confident on the season. It feels our first XI is better but our squad is weaker at the moment. Arsenal have such a good squad now.

I mean I think this is exceptionally harsh. You can see the quality but you can also see the speed of play isn’t quite there yet agreed. It can take players time to adjust. If this is still the case by December I’ll be concerned.

I also don’t think we will play two more physical and athletic teams than Newcastle and Bournemouth too. Not worried at all.
