Continuing her theme of pushing readability boundaries but with the most stunning typography 😅

Annoyingly I couldn’t get the turquoise vinyl as I couldn’t ever get the site to load. Ended up having to settle for the lime one from HMV

^same happened to me, never ever managed to log in, the site wasn't even loading

in the end I got the clear vinyl cos it said it was limited

but now that I look at them the burgundy and the dark green both look nicer than the clear one

 

I guess artists like Bjork print very few vinyls cos for the latest Arctic Monkeys or Taylor, there is no problem getting anything you like

while with Bjork things sell out in minutes and cannot even reach the store website

I didn’t manage to get the turquoise either 😢 I can never access her store, and the OLI website kept crashing. I went for the burgundy rough trade one in the end, which was a close second for me.

 

I was expecting Atopos to be out by now…hopefully it’ll be out next Friday. If not, maybe they won’t release anything until the album release, seems odd to have made the announcement for the single if that’s the case though.

Hmmmm. I’m not sure I’m that fond. It’s not overly interesting from a production point of view and it lacks any kind of melody to it. I got bored on first listen :(

Its all very Medulla-Volta, none of which are favourite eras

 

Can't remember the last time I was this excited for an album, can't wait for next Friday.

So obsessed with Atopos, such a great intro to the album. I could listen to that last minute on repeat for ever.

Ovule very much feels like an album track, but I really like the production and I think it'll grow when listening to the album as a whole.

 

She's just released Ancestress and the video is coming today too – I saw people comparing it to Unison (aka the best song ever) so my expectations were sky high. On first listen I'm not sure I'm really getting that comparison haha, love the way it builds though and actually really like Sindri's backing vocals after not really being sure what to expect from them.
