Does anyone know the sales of each album?

 

Well i'm not sure about Each album but i do know that before IC was released he had sold over 38 million albums. IC is approching 6 million now so it's now over 44 million and will no doubt hit 45 milllion very soon :cheer:

 

Here is what i think, but it never adds up :rolleyes:

 

Life thru a lens - 4 million (but i'm not sure)

I've been expecting you - 4 million (might be more)

Ego has landed - 600k in the USA and more elsewere. (only know US sales)

Sing - 5.5 million (could be nearer 6)

Swing - 6 million (this is correct)

Escapology - 6.3 million (correct)

Knebworth - 2 million (i'm not certain)

Greatest hits - 6.5 million (this is about right)

Intensive care - 5.8 million (this is correct)

He has sold an indredible abount of album for someone who is'nt big in the US. Few acts can say that they have sold almost 45 million album in less than 9 year outside the US.

I agree. It is simply amazing how many albums he has sold outside the US in less than a decade.

Just read on Ceefax that Intensive Care has just been officially certified as 5x Platinum in Europe (by the IFPI). That means it has now sold over 5 million in Europe alone :cheer: . The 'Rest of the World' sales ain't included in this.

Just posted it up jupiter..great news isn't it. :cheer: The Billboard Global Chart was released last week which put Intensive Care at No.10 so the album is doing great and we haven't had his tour yet. :cheer: :cheer:

 

Intensive Care hasn't come out of my CD player in my car yet. I think its a great album and I am so pleased to know that there are millions of people who are listening to it too.

 

I'm sure Robbie is over the moon with this great news :cheer:

I forgot about the Ego has landed which sold 600,000 in the USA and was also released in various other countries ^_^

I brought my copy of the ego has landed when I was in America, I was so excited I had a copy well before it was realeased in the uk quite some time after. ^_^

I don't recall it being released in the UK :unsure: but i do often see a copy or 2 in certain cd shops :D

 

I got my copy in Canada in 2000 :D

I got mine as an import. From Australia I think. :unsure:

I remember seeing the ego has landed in shops here and a big poster advertising in one of the shop windows, just assumed it was released in the UK. Perhaps I was wrong :unsure:

I bought my copy here in Dutchie-land :P

I heard that George Michaels's record sales include Wham so if you include TT and Rob's singles he sold nearly 80 million records :o :lol:

That was from a while back. Rudebox will take him over 35 million albums in Europe at worst and hopefully 50 million worlwide. :D

 

I am currently trying to find out his worlwide singles sales. :D He is definatly approching 60 million records anyway, which is simply amazing for someone not big in the USA :yahoo:
