The first round of voting has ended, and we say goodbye to a song made in lockdown 2020, and so it’s producer Sam Feldt whose effort to secure Ella with a memorable dance feature didn’t pay off, and so Hold Me Close is the first to lose in the survivor. Sam Feldt once said in an interview that “We’ve been working on this song for a long time. Both lyrically and instrumentally, it sets the tone and vibe of the label perfectly. It’s lyrically about loving the people next to you, and it’s everything that Heartfeldt stands for. It’s upbeat, happy, positive, inspiring, and melodic. Ella was the perfect voice on it! I saw her sing at the Capitol Jingle Ball where we both performed in London. I’ve known her music for a very long time, so I reached out to her and she was super excited to do the track.”

I also voted out oust We Got Love but I don’t think it’s got the legs to overtake other songs just yet. I think 21 Reasons will manage at least one more round, but less sure about Risk It All.

i meant to click kygo... i remember someone saying at her Shepherds Bush Empire how that song was destined to be a hit and i thought ???????

For me there isnt really any bad songs on the list and sometimes its easy to forget how many collabs she has released and there is sure to at least a few months in the not to distant future. So far we have 11 and when you mix them with her solo releases she has a good few singles to her name built up.

Great to see someone else likes Risk It All. I’m sure there’s others though.

Yeah I was really hopeful that Risk It All might last a bit longer but I guess it’s her most unfamiliar song given it didn’t chart, but there is still time for things to change for any late voters.
