Catch Me In The Air has taken 12 weeks to reach the #1 spot, beating the 8 weeks it took Perfume Genius to do so with On The Floor. I absolutely LOVE this song and it felt so wrong to leave it with a #4 peak, so with the album release it felt like the perfect time for some made-up chart justice! It's Rina's 5th #1 (only Charli XCX has more with 7, while Caroline Polachek and Hayley Williams are also tied on 5) and gives her an unbroken run of 4 chart-topping releases, a feat only managed elsewhere by Charli XCX earlier this year. Rina also holds the entire top 3 this week, the first artist to do so since Hayley Williams in 2021 (although Hayley actually held the entire top 8!). It's obviously a big week for Rina, with 3 top ten entries and a further 5 entries further down. In fact, Hold The Girl is the first album to chart all its tracks since Crash by Charli XCX, and only the second this year!
