Posted September 27, 20222 yr Who has heard this song? Last time I checked it wasn’t on Spotify - it was a B-Side to ‘So You Say’ The lyrics, the melody and sound are just beautiful. Haunting and ethereal vocals I even used this song to try and say to someone (who was a dick) that we should not get back together! KIeSqmqipYI
September 27, 20222 yr Oooh I don’t think I actually have. Gonna hunt this down on YouTube on the work laptop when I’m back at my desk
September 27, 20222 yr IIRC, it was mentioned very early on when the project was called The Agony and The Ectasy. I remember it being mentioned as a potential single (though I'm not sure it ever actually was or if it was just that they had just started recording and people took it from there) - obviously it must've been recorded very early on in the sessions since it's one of the few (only?) songs that Siobhan doesn't have a writing credit on. It's great. I hope we get an expanded version of Ghosts one day... sigh. Edited September 27, 20222 yr by tommie
September 28, 20222 yr I have and I love it, it’s always been included in to the Ghosts playlist for me so I kinda forgot it wasn’t actually on the album. Same with Hayling actually.

You mean Styfling? o28GE7GIZpY There's also Obscured by Crowds / Clouds (per Carl McIntosh it's crowds, but there was a bit of confusion there, hence the lyric video): fcIDyHUfvEI Since we're digging into Ghosts - here's an early version of So You Say that Sha Boland did called Say You Say: http://www.carlmcintosh.co.uk/Songs/Entrie...ay_You_Say.html One More Time, performed by Sophie Clarke, is an earlier version of There's A Place with different lyrics: http://www.carlmcintosh.co.uk/Songs/Entrie..._More_Time.html
October 7, 20222 yr I really do love Don't Take Me Back  It shoulda been on the album, not just a B-Side
November 21, 20222 yr it's not so much that her solo should be bigger... but at a sustainable level where she could continue touring and making music successfully.
