We have come to the end of Round 3, and we have to say goodbye to 21 Reasons, Ella’s recent collaboration with Nathan Dawe. The song was a take on the commonly sampled 2003 single Calabria by Danish producer Rune. The song was also a popular sample in the 2007 single Destination Calabria by sampled by Alex Gaudino and Crystal Waters. The song is in fact Ella Henderson’s second collaboration with Nathan Dawe having been an uncredited artist on his earlier single Lighter with KSI. Aside from the sample, the song featured lyrics and verses that speak of the 21 reasons why someone is loved. Speaking about how Ella Henderson became involved in the song, Nathan Dawe said they had kept in touch after working together on Lighter and that upon finishing the demo it was Ella Henderson that sprung to his mind. He wanted to feature her "unfiltered vocals" unlike those "chipmunk vocals" on Lighter. The duo wrote the lyrics in two hours over Zoom.

One song will drop out in this round, 7 will go through to the next round.
