December 26, 200618 yr I hope it goes to the top ten (although it deserves to be number 1, it´s a great song!)
December 27, 200618 yr This is the best song after Aint No Other Man! It will get a definite top ten in the US, and it will save the album worldwide! I hope Oh Mother gets the 4rth release, it would get number one.
December 27, 200618 yr Too long to wait... I agree, it would have been great for it to get released during Christmas as it has that Christmas atmosphere to it. But I hope it gets on radio by mid-January.
December 27, 200618 yr 'oh Mother' should never get a release tyler, its way too personal and has NO commercial-ness to it... :P it is a long way to wait BUT it means she is here for a LONGER time than say beyonce or justin.... its climbing the US Pop iTunes Chart already....#28!!

It's not getting any plays anywhere... Did they use it on a TV programme or something? And the reason I think Candyman shouldn't be released is because I don't think it has any commercialness to it either - it's pure retro - there's absolutely nothing modern to it at all.

December 27, 200618 yr No I wasn't at the concert :P I have a love/hate relationship with Chrsitina  The song is VERY camp yeah, but I don't have any faith in it at all. I just think it's too retro to be a hit with the general public. Slow Down Baby would've done much better me thinks.
December 27, 200618 yr although i love SDB its not THAT great of a song, it could of been sang by anyway and still been a great track.... its not really a song christina makes her own, although she has the best vocals to do the track the most justice she can!! we will have to wait and see what happens, cant wait for the video... Edited December 27, 200618 yr by Blitz
December 27, 200618 yr I'm definately looking forward to the video. Hurt was such a great video and Candyman has the potential for a great video :D
December 27, 200618 yr I think Hurt underperformed for the same reasons I think Candyman will underperform. They're both good songs but to the general public Hurt was like an old fashioned power ballad, there was nothing relateable about it, musically or lyrically and I think that's where Candyman's problems lay.

It would do just as good or even better then Hurt I think! :o But if it isn't released I will settle for SDB, BUT NO UNDERSTAND
December 28, 200618 yr it is used on 'LG Chocolate' phones i believe as advertisement... Yeah that commercial was good! I think it gave the song alot of publicity as it was played on alot of channels!

I don't think Candyman will underperform. I think it is very much like Fergalicious, and look how well that turned out.
