This week alone has seen 4 dance remakes of Sonny Bono's 60s release 'The Beat Goes On'. Of course we all know the 90s remake from The All Seeing I (which has also been re-released) but cast your ears over this week's releases, which one is your fave?

Campbell and Spencer Ramsay have been promoting their versions on TikTok a lot.

Campbell - The Beat Goes On (Rhythm To The Brain)

Spencer Ramsay - Beat Goes On (DnB Flip)

Chapter & Verse - The Beat Goes On

The All Seeing I vs Cody Wong - Beat Goes On (La De Da De De Mix)

Thank you JOTA. Danny Howard said 4 versions on Radio 1 and I couldn't work out what the other one was! I've added it to the poll.

I'd say Spencer Ramsay's is my favourite of the lot for not going down the house route, makes it stand out tbh.

this is my rank (plus some extra info)

1st The All Seeing I vs Cody Wong version | London / Sony

2nd Spencer Ramsay version | Polydor | Produced by Alex Tepper, Spencer Ramsay & James Hiraeth

3rd Campbell version| Atlantic UK | Hal Ritson (Keyboards, Additional Production, Programmer) Richard Adlam (Drums, Additional Production, Programmer) Kaylee Johnston (Vocals)

4th. Chapter & Verse version| Helix / Payfone / Warner

I have a question... who are Cody Wong & Lewis Campbell? -_-

It sounds very similar to Out of Nowhere ;)

That remix is better than the unremixed Campbell version - it has an interesting Middle Eastern vibe to the main synth melody.
