As requested, here it is! The Delta Goodrem singles survivor features her 35 singles as lead artist, dating from 2001's I Don't Care through to 2021's Billionaire. 9 Australian #1s and a total of 24 top 40 hits feature

Of course, as with most artists, there's the potential for some debate as to what should be included but I've tried to be objective - Wikipedia lists All of My Friends as a single, though it never seemed to be more than an instant grat (I don't mind adding it if there are any major objections though!), while it doesn't list Only Santa Knows, which got a music video and promotion (and Delta's Christmas album deserves to feature with at least one song).

In round 1, it's multiple choice because the list is SO long and probably daunting to those who aren't diehard Delta stans, so vote for as many songs as you want, within reason of course, and those with the most votes will be leaving ahead of round 2. The eliminations will calm down a little when we reach the top 20 or so but each round will only last a handful of days.

Get voting, and don't forget to post in the thread to tell us what you're voting for!

This is going to become impossible VERY quickly  the lower tier Delta singles for me, and therefore my votes, are:

Love, Thy Will Be Done

Welcome to Earth

Let It Rain (lovely cause but song is inessential for me)

Solid Gold

Billionaire (my least favourite overall, I never quite connected here :( )

I went for Love Thy Will Be Done, Only Santa Knows and Billionaire.

The former is a nice enough cover, but nothing amazing, Only Santa Knows is a decent Xmas song but I didn't exactly have it in rotation last year - the first Xmas after it came out, and Billionaire is probably my least favourite single of hers overall. It's ok, that's it.

Unbelievably, there are several here I haven't actually heard. Oops.

I'll either try and listen to the outstanding ones tomorrow, or wait a few rounds.

Exciting! I’ll make sure to vote soon.

Ok I ended up voting for Love, Thy Will Be Done, Only Human, Welcome To Earth, Let It Rain & Billionaire.

Love Thy i guess... i don't even really consider this a single.

lol at the votes for Billionaire already.

It even had a CD single release (as I own it), although not sure if it charted in Aus or not.

Throw It Away also had a limited digital release here (I certainly paid to download the True North single mix on My Coke Music). The CD single was cancelled but I believe the extremely rare promo copies out there have been known to sell for hundreds.

I remember at one point they both appeared on the release schedule as a double A-side, I guess I can see why they didn't think it was worth their while to bother with a 5th single in the end.

True, I expect it would have been a low top 40 result to release two songs readily available on an album that by that point was already double platinum. Probably not a bad idea to swerve it although I'd liked to have seen some sort of release for the abandoned single mix of Throw It Away.

The singles and b-sides all got a bit mixed up due to how we were always a few months behind Australia. Happy Xmas (War Is Over) being a double a-side with Predictable in Aus but a b-side to Not Me, Not I here. In My Own Time was also a b-side on both the Born To Try and Lost Without You singles here, as well as being on the album

I think another or maybe the main reason it was scrapped was Delta’s cancer diagnosis and treatment. She wouldn’t have been able to film a music video for it and it would’ve probably git a live one like Predictable did. Also she would t have been able to do any promo for it. So I guess as a 5th single in the UK and 6th in Australia the label must’ve thought it was best to abandon it.

I could be wrong but that’s my thoughts on it.

Also is the True North remix of Throw It Away available to listen to at all?

I can’t find it online and not got my hard drive with the MP3 on it atm, it was a bit bouncier than the album version but not hugely different.

Ah cool thanks. I always wondered what it sounded like. It’s one of my favourite album tracks from her.

Leave Paralyzed and Billionaire alone. Thanks
