Posted December 22, 200618 yr When a man named Abe (Nathan Fillion) witnesses the death of his family, and narrowly escapes his own, he is suddenly able to see when others around him are going to die. Anybody else thinking of going to see this? I thought the first one was pretty good but it had an awful ending. I don't quite know how this is going to be done though as it can't be a direct sequel to the first one seen as the main charchter is dead.
December 22, 200618 yr I found this film very, very creepy, the ending was unexpected, but I was quite glad to see an ending that wasn't the cliché of "everyone lives and all is happy" no I wanted something different and that's what I got, so hopefully this one will be a good follow up, i'll be checking this out. ^_^
December 22, 200618 yr The first one was okay but quite boring, nothing special at all But the advert for this second one looks alot scarier so I would go and see it
December 22, 200618 yr Author I found this film very, very creepy, the ending was unexpected, but I was quite glad to see an ending that wasn't the cliché of "everyone lives and all is happy" no I wanted something different and that's what I got, so hopefully this one will be a good follow up, i'll be checking this out. ^_^ I think the whole non-Hollywood ending is what kinda made me think the ending was pretty bad in all honesty. I as fully expecting the main charachter to be the hero and live happily ever after but that didn't end and instead he met his maker and the way that it ended was totally un-expected for me. The second one though looks very scary. Should be good. ^_^
December 22, 200618 yr I never saw the first one - and never thought there'd be any need for a sequel.
December 23, 200618 yr The first one had an interesting concept, but was very poorly executed and the ending was such a bad cop-out as well... Just a rip off of a lot of infinitely superior Japanese/Korean horrors such as "Ringu", "Phone", "Kairo", etc... The second one from what I've seen of the trailer is just another one of these "I can see dead people" Sixth Sense/The Eye knock-offs.... Why the fukk they are trying to claim some kind of link to the first one is frankly beyond me, different characters, different actors, different set-up, different plots.... Where's the linkage...? And isn't the plot of this film rather similar to the plot of Stephen King's "The Dead Zone" as well....? Hmmmmm....
December 23, 200618 yr Author I never saw the first one - and never thought there'd be any need for a sequel. Its not really a sequel in terms of the charchters, its more of a sequel towards the whole white noise thing and just expanding on all that I think.
December 24, 200618 yr Its not really a sequel in terms of the charchters, its more of a sequel towards the whole white noise thing and just expanding on all that I think. I still dont see the link though mate, this one is supposedly about near-death experiences and the whole idea of seeing a 'light' and the main character is supposed to be tormented by visions of people who are about to die (a bit like the way Chris Walken was tormented by visions in "The Dead Zone" in fact... )... Whereas the original one was about hearing dead people over radio waves and static.... It's a very, very tenuous (to say the least..) excuse for a sequel, the two things are not really linked at all... You'd may as well say that this film is a sequel to "Sixth Sense", cos plot-wise it has far more in common with that than with "White Noise"....
December 29, 200618 yr Never saw the first one, but i would really, really love to see this one, looks awesome.
December 30, 200618 yr the first one was good and a bit different :) Only if you've never seen a Japanese or Korean horror film mate....
January 1, 200718 yr Only if you've never seen a Japanese or Korean horror film mate.... or a plate of trifle
January 8, 200718 yr Watching this on Friday or Saturday, can't wait, the first scary film I have watched in a cinema
January 9, 200718 yr As with the first, it's a case of 'good idea, poor execution'.... The principles of M Knight Shyamalan's "I see dead people" from his superb "Sixth Sense" is there, as are concepts 'borrowed' from Stephen King (Dead Zone in particular) and "Final Destination", but the whole is a messy affair, and there are several performances (especially from Craig Fairbrass) that are just totally below par.... I normally like Nathan Fillion ("Serenity/Firefly" and "Slither"), but it just seems he cant be arsed in this film.... What would have helped this film - A less hokey script, better acting, a more horror-oriented director... 4/10
January 10, 200718 yr i saw this on sunday and i liked it til the end....same with the first one....the endings go a bit crazy
January 14, 200718 yr I thought this was a bit creepy and jumpy, it's not the sort of film I would usually go to see but I liked it in a never-going-to-see-it-again sort of way ^_^ The end was c**p though. I started to lose the plot and it confused me :( The ending was very poor compared to the rest of the film I thought -_-

In fact they looked like out-takes from one of the 'Resident Evil' games.... The ending was pretty spectacularly lame wasn't it....?
