Probably still hoping to get a hit to launch it from, which may never come.

I mean, the last album was essentially a pseudo Greatest Hits by the time it was released anyway.

It will change on iTunes as I can’t see the digitals and physicals being released separately. It goes from March 2023 to 2024 the rate it’s going
It has now changed on iTunes to 1st December

I wonder what his excuse to push the album back is this time?

Lack of a recent hit single probably, the label couldn't have been pleased by the floppage of Radio and Feels This Good this year

Still September on Amazon (for now)

Not anymore, it's changed there along with HMV and Rough Trade too. I agree with Dan that a lack of a hit single in the run up the album is possibly causing him/MOS to push this back but I'm not sure what they're going to achieve? Unless there's some incredibly catchy/popular song we're yet to hear or maybe they're looking at reworking the tracklist.

EDIT: Oh you meant the Amazon download, I'm sure that'll change eventually if iTunes has

Album Cancelled

What’s the point in cancelling the album? It’s still up for pre-order on iTunes. Anyway, even if his album was full of hits, releasing in December is a bad idea as it would no way go #1

It looks like they never got clearance on one of the songs so kept being delayed and have eventually given up. Bit of a shame really and a waste of all the physical copies which were presumably made.

Shame for him, although commercial chart dance albums are such a hard sell, especially when you've got no big hit singles to hang them off. Joel Corry's has been hanging around due to streams but it's more of a Greatest Hits, like Sigala's debut was.

I guess that problematic track could have been removed but I suppose the label may have lost faith in recouping anything out of this.

Hoping he's still releasing his Shaun Farrugia-written and Roxanne Emery-written songs as singles in the future.
